This isn’t true...if you are rich from selling premium shoes, phones, or cars you would be selling and buying luxury. Rich people understand their customer and their markets...while poor people waste time instead of perfecting their craft.

Successful people are successful because they are consistent. One ought to stay determined in a trade and don't always expect positive result. You can only get these basic information when you have the guidance of an experienced mentor.
@@roym9992 Same issues i’ve got, i almost gave up trading. At the end of most trades i usually do get losses instead of profits, please help me out if you finally get hold of an effective broker.
@@ThomasWilliams-gl9lm Good. One needs an experienced mentor because a mentor would instruct you on what to do. You ought to have good timing and good money management and this can only be possible when you've had years of practice and knowledge in trading.

I found your channel while planning a trading bot with my brother-in-law. We were aiming for big gains with some great strategies we learned in the past. But we couldn't make it work, so I continued my research. Your videos have taught me lot of things. I'm really grateful for it! I really hate those adds they try to sell you a course with “the strategy that will allow you to fire 🔥 your boss” or “make you free financially” or “simple moving average strategy”. Brother thanks a lot, I have being following you since august after I quit the course I was paying for and leaning none. Just took me 1 month watching you and I started to see the difference, today I still continue on my demo acc but I feel more confident of my trading and close to open my live acc. Thanks for the advice nick ive been trading in forex for 2 years now and started good but no knowledge and started again and blown two accounts because I’m following my emotions and no strategy but now I’m forcing myself to learn the right way and doing monthly deposits to grow over years! If you are far enough along in your trading journey to truly understand and appreciate what this guy is saying in this 28 minute video I respectfully salute you and wish you every bit of success in trading the markets! One of the best videos out there for retail traders in my opinion.
The truth of the matter is, not everyone who watches will take your advice, and that's ok. I do think your outlook and process to successful trading is excellent. If they want to gamble and blow their accounts over and over and not do it the right way, that's on them, after all to be winners, there has to be losers. I'd rather win small and maintain that over time than have one severe lost that's going to set me back a lot, After watching multiple videos of yours, I'm learning A LOT and it's working on better for me. Being more disciplined, letting my winners do the work and not cutting profits early Waiting until I see a good confirmation of something before entering the trade Proper risk management (I've been through the gambling phase, profits disappeared faster than they were made) Staying focused on the end goal. This is an investment and I'm treating it as such. My goal is to make 5% returns monthly, I'm gonna aim high and if I come up short that's ok. As long as I'm building overall.
what you said Nick is the real truth. I have seen people not testing a strategy and just jump in with real cash and ultimately lose all. I feel min 1-2 months of demo accounts is a must before putting in real cash. Most traders just dont do it.
I appreciate your honesty. My only question is one of my father’s best friends has been day trading since I was little. He was in his early 30’s at that time. I’m just wondering how people do this if they are only making 2-5% monthly. I’m not sure his financial situation but (I don’t think) he’s a multi millionaire or anything. Again I think your advice is sound I’m just wondering how people out there do this as an income, I know he’s not the only one. @TraderNick to answer, yes, I do. Somewhat my batting average is 6 of 10 and cant get to profitable trading. Still looking for new approaches and returned to demo to practice.
I definitely am going to be growing my small $1000 account this summer, I'll try to deposit every month consistently. going to try and build my account like OG traders did back in the day

Nick I love your videos and I know you hate hindsight traders but a tip that really helped my trading was waiting for the structure shift. On your supply and demand trades if you implement the patience of the structure shift you’ll have less pretty entries but better confirmation

I think almost of the successfull trade would say the same thing like you, Nick. I read their books and they always put their risk as low as it can, and targeting the profit in a realistic way with the risk they put. And I also have found a community in my town that told the same as you do. Thank you for remind me again how investment should work, Nick. I have lost lot of money, even lend some money to start and then blow it. By watching your video, I know what I did wrong and I want to restart again in the right way. Bless you Nick! The reason why breakout strategies have a high TP level, tight stop loss level is due to the prce breaking out of a point where it has no where to stop it once it breaks out. A daily high or daily low is indicative of this as once it breaks out of the daily high, there isn't another price level (resistence/support) nearby above it to stop it. I see support and resistence levels as potentially areas where the price might fall through or not and look at the distances between them.
