As I mentioned in the video, my substrate is mostly pumice, sand, and a bit of coco fiber - medium grain size.
Agave seeds should germinate in the first two weeks and you can expect a germinate rate a bit above 50% at 100% humidity. Remove them from your germination box as soon as they sprouted but keep them most for the first two months and spray frequently.
Fertilize lightly and regularity and quickly adapt them to more intense sun. This will help them to develop a healthy root system.
Growth will be slow. For most desert species, they will barely start to look like agave after 6 months and be maybe 3-5cm in diameter after a year.
