I’m finding the same thing Liz, my lithops have limped along in Canberra with me babying them but when I moved to Orange everything out in open weather, they are thriving!
you inspired me to grow succulents...i have a small collection and hopefully..mabuhay silang lahat :) also getting lithops today..thanks for your tips and tricks
OMG! right timing.💕 I just bought my lithops yesterday and wondering how to make them grow ang strive. BTW the realme ad in this video makes me cry..very very touching. I see my self there. The ads in your videos are inspiring as well. Thank you so much po Miss Lizk. 😇
ahhhhhhh I wanna see the next video LOLzzzzz my lithops seedlings are teeny tiny; yours look absolutely alien-like compared to mine! I cannot wait to see my babies grow. Keep the videos coming. TY from Texas
oh thank you!! ive never seen them up close like that and i had no idea how they multiply like that!!! theyre so interesting and i thought they were so boring!! im getting buried in snow right now thats why i was so late for the video tonight!! theres already about 6 inches and its not stopping for another 12 hours maybe haha!!!
They're so easy to look after. Repot every 3 to 5 years or when their pot fill up. Sounds like you have a perfect excuse for binge watching RU-vid videos on succulents. Take care and keep warm.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK yes mam liz you should try 🤗🤗 i think if they grow from seeds nakapag acclimatize na sila sa weather nmin sana tama hakahaka ko 😆😆
Liz! I’ve binged watched tons of your videos and I have seen this planter in a few of them! I’d love to know where you found the planter for your lithops with all the holes around it?
I really dont know if I like them or not. I have one lol I cant stop thinking about what they erm.... look like. They definitely look more fun when they multiply though. Im on the fence. Yours are amazing. Thanks for the video, really interesting!
Thanks for the video, Liz. I’m cringing every time you tried to peel off the outer leaves of the lithops that split...you’re supposed to leave it alone until it completely dries out as the new plant will eat it out ( per Google advice) 😂 But, who knows which is right? Too many conflicting advice out there. Your plants look healthy anyway. They said not to water them in summer as they are dormant, mine became wrinkly so I watered them and now they look healthy. My gauge when to water them is when they start to wrinkle on the side. Love your videos.
Thanks for watching Rosemarie. I've had these lithops for 3 years and they've flower in Autumn, go dormant in Winter and in Spring they start growing and dividing all through summer to form flower buds in time to bloom in Autumn again. We've had so much rain this year that some of the exoskeleton needs removal to stop the water collecting on the gaps and rotting the plant. I have observed that they only feed off their skin when there's extreme drought. Plenty of rain means some of the skin has to come off or they have to be placed somewhere protected from the rain which means less air circulation, less light and attracts the nasty insects. I have to stop now(lol) or else I'll have to write a book here on this comment page about lithops. There's more to these plants than meets the eye.
Nasa DIY greenhouse ko lang with growlights po.I want to see your soil mix too😅😘

They are one of the easiest echeveria to grow and that's why it's named 'PROLIFICA.' I won't make a specific video on them but will feature them in one of my vlogs. Thanks for watching.

They have been the "MOST EASIEST" plant to look after for me. Put them in a pretty pot and forget about them and every now and then, they greet you with the most amazing flowers.
Here is what I said in the video. "I’ve had these lithops for about two years and Four months to be exact. These has already seen about three winters. I keep them out in the open. And they get rained on and a lot of sun...........I basically water this twice a year not even water heavily I just sprinkle it. Give it a good spray but not really saturate it." Because they're grown outdoors, and we've been getting a lot of rain for the past couple of years, I have only "physically" have to water the ones at the back twice a year when they start looking thirsty. The ones that gets wets by the rain, I don't water. Thanks for watching.
