Dear, if you don't know about a plant properly, please do not come up with a video on that subject. Most of your tips are good and I tried many especially air layering etc. Pepper can be grown from seeds. It will take more time for the yield. Also, putting in boiled water for 15-20 minutes is for making white pepper. For black pepper, the seeds are dried up in direct sunlight for 5 to 6 days. I am from Kerala and I grow bush pepper as well as normal pepper plant at home.
With due respect, please watch the video again. I never said that the plants cannot be grown from seeds. Rather I said that you can grow them from nursery bought fresh seeds not the store bought seeds. Please watch the entire video again and post your comment.

Don't boil them for 10 to 20 minutes. Just put them into boiling water after switching off the gas/heat and keep it in the boiled water for 10 to 20 minutes. I do it this way. If we boil them on fire the skin of the fruit will peel off. Just blanch them for a few minutes, the fruits will turn black, and sun dry them.
Watching this informative video I could come to know why my plant couldn't survive in summers, having planted in late spring, even after it had started growing giving offshoots. Thanks for such a marvelous information.

Sir. You are wrong wrt fungus, nematode. Black pepper vine is more susceptible to phytophthora and nemetode attack. You need to spray 1% bordax solution in monsoon. That is the main practice.
