It doesn´t NEED it, but the vegetables grow 20-30% better and faster with aeration for the top roots. She just managed to grow cucmbers in half the time of normal earth growth cucumbers! Just amazing!

Yes that is correct.. nothing beats the natural sunlight.. growlight is juat an alternative for people who lives in the City who doesnt have space for an outdoor garden and still want to experience and enjoy the fun of growing something.

Nice! After you transplantand to the bottles with 1000pm, did you add more fertilizer after or did that last all way to harvest? Did you check on the PH or just measured once at 6.0 and left it?
Insulation foam.. to keep the water from getting warm.. and keep the light away from the Nutrients solution... Nutrients Solution + Light = Algae... Warm Water = rootrot...

After 37 days -- you harvested 4 fruits per plant. Good -- but is this all -- does the harvest end after 37 days? Does the plant continue growing and bearing more fruits? If yes, how many more fruits per plant do you expect? Or do you get rid of the plant after that SINGLE harvest -- and you plant NEW SEEDLINGS -- and start all over again??
It contonuously gives fruit for 60 days.. depending on how healthy the plant it might be longer.. these variety of cucumbers gives generous amount of fruits depending of how much sunlight they get..
For those looking for a cheaper option, kratkys method can be done in any container provided it has the size to handle the developing roots. You dont need aeration but if you find your vegetables to be quick to starve out agitate the water daily or use a cheap aquarium bubbler under the roots at the bottom of the water reservoir. You dont need expensive net cups just the cheap jiffy pellet pots and a few toothpicks to stick into them and hold them at the lid line so they dont fall into the water and can rest just on top of it,
Mas maganda ung tanim ko kasi sa NFT system ko sya ginawa. May aerator din ako dun, venturi. Kaso mas magastos ung ginawa kong setup kasi may pump and reservoir. This is an alternative way to save cost
Tanung lang po sir Nars ung PPM mo na 1000 included naba ung initial ppm ng tubig kasi pag gamit mo ay deep-well mataas ang initial ppm. At ang nutrients mo ung pang fruit bearing ba? Salamat
