Egg shell powder might be good for calcium

That white powder is Epsom salt available in nursery garden or seeds shop. This powder is useful for early growing of plants and flowering. Iam using this plant for all plants like brinjal bottle gourd even to rose plants

Tropical climate. It take 3 years and enough sunlight to get fruit

If you do from old crop plant cuttings definitely you will get in 2 to 3 months. I have lot of plants. This very easy growing no insects or bug free plant. If you do from seed it takes long time to get crop.

I'm just curious since this is the first time we had this kind of plant. Can we sell it in the market? How much do you think it cost?

@@djmicah26 hi I'm from UK and I buy this in Indian market. We make a curry made from this and it very delicious. I use them when they are green, I believe that the red fruit is ripe and the same used in the video for growing.

@@djmicah26 no problem! If you want to make it here's how! Heat some oil, low heat add mustard seeds, after they finished popping add cumin then add chopped ivy gourd. Cook until softened, then add one chopped tomatoe. And salt to taste. Cook for approx 15min 20 Min until gourd is cooked and tomatoes are mushed. Then add coriander powder cook for a few minutes. Serve with chapati 👌🏽👍🏽😏

I tried growing from seeds and the guards were bitter. Trying again this year.

We grow for leave to eat not fruit .

Fruit get yellowish is the way it is. No worry

But I am not getting any yield. There r lots of female flowers but all get yellow n fall down.

Oh because it takes too long for ivy goird to produce fruit

If you grow with cuttings from old plant you will get crop every year. If you do from seed s it takes two to three years or more then that. That is the reason I keep the pruned plant in the garage in winter season. Take some big rooted stems and plant them or graft it may be crop time going to be less.
