Yes i do. i put some pea size of aloe vera extract into my damp hair then spread it over until it become a li'l bit sticky then style it using my bare hands and now my hair is so thick it looks like a artificial hair (wig).😂 It keeps growing faster more than i expected.

Had shorthair all my life, the pandemic hit and I let my hair grow for 15 months before getting my first "clean up" cut. Hey man same here. Mine is 2 years during since 2020 lockdowns. My problem is I keep losing the long ones after cold shower. I use shampoo and conditioner 3x a week. The new short ones that grown on top are difficult to manage. Any tips?
@@makoygaara Just taking a guess here so take it with a grain of salt but you might be shampooing too often. I typically do a full wash twice a week though since I workout on the regular I rinse it daily with my shower. I definitely get some breakage here and there and yeah the new ones that grow in can be a bit of a pain, I usually tame/style with a leave in conditioner. Aveda makes a grooming cream that works well and has a great scent. Unfortunately you may need to experiment a bit to find what works for you and don't be afraid to consult your barber.

I have a little tip for you guys who are currently in that awkward stage. I found out myself that the thing that triggers this awkward looks are the bangs on the side, just simply pull it behind the ear so it seems cleaner. Hope it helped
I am currently in that awkward stage with my hair and i do this. it only looks bad straight when i wake up and if i wear a hat for a long time. Once i do my hair properly it looks fine.
Extra tips: Use silk pillow cases, don't rub rather gently pat hair after showers, shower with luke warm water (not too cold nor too hot), use wooden combs/ brushes to avoid statics, only wear hats if necessary (protection from cold or sun) but not too much for it flattens, breaks and dries hair, use conditioner, trim 1/2 inch of your hair every 3 months to avoid split ends.
@Connor Richardson yeah what else? Some schools don't allow long hair. In our schools we all have short hair and those who dont are punished. Usually a detention. But once I saw a teacher slap someone for having 'stylish' hair. They don't even let anyone grow medium length hair. FYI: I am from Bangladesh

First off, your hair is beautiful. I used to like the idea of having long hair since my childhood but I could only muster the courage to do so a couple of years ago, in my late twenties. I am never one to take care of my skin, face or scalp and by the time I started growing long hair, my hair is already pretty thin. As it grow longer, I encounter more hair fall. Time and time again, when I see my small bun and my thinning hair line and my scalp, I become very much depressed. Now, I am trying some home remedies like aloe vera and onion juice, coconut oil and egg. Seeing your beautiful hair gives me hope to keep it going.
I grew my hair out for the first time ever this last year only lasted about 10 months and I cut it….. now I miss it but I’m back at it again just cut it all one length and now going to let it just grow. Perfect time to study and get tips how to care for it as it grows back.

Great tips! Just one pointer: You don't need to eat fish to get omega-3. You can get Omega-3 ALA from flaxseeds, walnuts and chiaseeds. They can convert a bit to Omega-3 EPA and DHA. You can also just order plant based omega-3 directly from the source: Sea plants. That's where the fish gets it from as the fish don't produce the oil themselves.

The last time I got a haircut was before my birthday may 2018. And I'm loving it. This is my second time attempting to grow since the first time I got fed up with the nappy stage since I have super straight hair with no volume and I went with the undercut on sides and man bun on top, but this time no matter how much it bothered me I didnt budge. Now my hair is so long ! The only downfall is my hair closer to my forehead is not quite there to tie in the back as I am forced to always wear hats and shampoo every day because I work in the construction business so that is almost impossible. Especially out here in the Coachella valley where we easily get 3 digit temperatures in summer. Anyway. @@skull_issues since my parents forced me to go to barber, I chose undercut ponytail. My hair is slowly regrowing. I should be 18 before it grows back so they won't be able to force me next time, meaning I'll grow it

I was growing my hair long in 2018 (i was in the awkward stage), but i got them cut, because the school didn't allowed me to grow my hair long. But i will again grow them long when I'm done with school. 🙂
I've been growing my hair for over 21 years now. In the last 2 years I have not trimmed it at all so it is currently very long at some points below my waist.

I like all the advice but I think when you said don't brush when wet only apply with straighter hair. I have super curly asian hair and if I comb through when dry it's more rough and more prone to breakage even with a wider comb. I have to make sure my hair is super wet and super hydrated for me than I can comb with little hair fallout.
