Hi it would be no. For the first 21 days, the moisture will be taken from grass. So no water be sprayed. They will be kept in dark with no disturbance.
Thanks for the information but I have some questions: 1- how you manage the humidity of the room if you gonna grow mushrooms at home 2- as I see there are two stages in growing mushrooms first is filling bags with straw and spawn till you see the mycelium seconds is cutting bags and adding compost, the question is how much the temperature and humidity should be on each stage ?

Namaste, better we use new cocopeat. Because as far I consider, old one will be with no nutrients or it may rot or damaged at the end of the mushroom cycle. So I always prefer the new one.
Hi, we do not give water always. It's purely based on the moisture content on soil and around atmosphere in room. Humidity should be there. Soil should not dry up. Just spray water, when ever required.
@@dailygardener7927 I have 1 more doubt is the temperature you mentioned in video. 25 to 35 degree and 85 to 90 percent humidity is good to grow button mushroom. Have you tried to grow button mushrooms.?
I'm cultivating mushroom...in 1st crop first growing mushroom is good but small pinnets are turned brownish black colour and its growth is stopped...y like that bro whats the prblm beyond it
Once the bigger mushrooms grow bigger, smaller ones will fade away, all the fungus will be concentrated in growing the larger one. Once they are plucked out, the second crop grows.
This video is just for home purpose. You can grow in bulk, but you need more methods and more care. There are instances, people grow bulk by same process.

Hello Ajay, for a 3 kg bed compost, it all depends on your conditions you grow the bed. If everything is good, a good grown milky mushroom shoots weighs up to 250gm. And overall you can get up to 2 to 3kgs of mushrooms on a bed in lifetime harvest of bed. But again, it all depends on many factors.
Hello, Jowar is okay, but it should be of good quality and not too dried. It may rot. But preferred items are rice straw, saw dust, sugar cane straw etc.
@@KannadaAdviceTv Hello, not the lead alone, stem also should be used and it should be dried well and of good quality. Other wise bed may spoil and you will not get mushrooms. Very careful in selection.
