Guyyysssss, why is everyone asking if I'm sad??? I'm like the happiest person right now! I just had an amazing time in LA and am preparing for another trip soon!! I was standing in this video so maybe I was out of breath and looked tired LOL but no worries guys! I'm happyyyyy :D Hope you all are too cause I love ya
I do have ombre hair and it's soo damaged! I hope my hair will get healthy soon! I don't use heat, but I don't really get it trimmed, so I will have to start :)
+Emoji Lov um...well 3 years ago I cut my hair to just beneath my ears, now it's like half a centimetre away from my waist. I think that's slow, at least it feels really slow to me!!!
+Pusheenicorn da boss omg what! I cut my hair 7 years ago right below my ear and it's about 3 inches below my shoulder now!!! your hair grows so fast compared to mine! is it normal for mine to grow that slow...?
night actually :) 00:00 here in europe thank you for keeping me motivated! not only to be healthy but also to be happy! you changed my life Alex thankyou so much
Ok, I'm not Alex but I wanted to help you with the little part you had at the end. If you want to stop washing your hair so much, I would recommend doing so gradually. Say you wash your hair on Tuesday, skip Wednesday and wash your hair on Thursday. Do that for a week or two, just washing your hair every other day. Then after a week of that, start skipping two days between each wash. See what I'm saying? You can stop whenever but I found that this helps. It could also help your hair grow out better, because you won't be washing the natural oils out which help grow healthy hair. Sorry this was so long, and I hope I helped😊
After you suggested the no heat summer idea, I did it and my hair was the longest it had ever been. It grew so fast! Thank you so much for the suggestion!
why is life so unfair with me, i never use heat i never dye my hair i drink a shit ton of water a do good stuff, i cut my bangs 2 years ago and they grown like 1,2cm i swear
You are such a gorgeous person and I hope that as I grow I mature into a person like you. You always appear so collected and confident, and that is something very admirable! Thank you for being you, and stay amazing ❤
You're so right!! My hair is always growing so fast. I have never dyed my hair and I have straightened/curled my hair like once haha 😂 It makes your hair so healthy and long❤️❤️
I would really like to see like an updated how to curl your hair with no heat something like that, or a try on haul. You're seriously good at doing youtube videos Alex! ❤️
I've been following her on Instagram for a while and just found out she's on RU-vid with hair care tips. I'm stoked right now you don't even know. She is hair goals
Yes ur hair does grow from the tops but when u get split ends it like goes up ur hair so like the ends go rlly and and it won't grow properly it's hard to explain but yeh
I'm so tired of people saying this. Obviously it grows from the top, the thing is if you don't trim it the ends break off so in the end you have no NET growth
Video's like these are so useful for me because I've been trying to grow out my hair for waaay too long and now I'm slowly starting to see results! I love your hair Alex..its literally the ideal hair I would like to have! Very helpful video, thank you!! And also, thanks to tips you've given in the past, I've started drinking way more water lately which is really good ! 💖💖💖
I find that these tips really helped me. I didn't notice my hair was growing until I looked back at an old picture and was like OMG my hair was soooooo much shorter!!
Oh my God I literally am in love with your hair! Is that even possible?! I cut my hair really short in September cause it was so heavy and kind of lifeless.. Thank God my hair grows abnormally fast!! I found rinsing my hair in freezing cold water after conditioning locks it loads of moisture and keeps it soft while it grows 😊 I'd love a updo hair tutorial ☺ i love you Alex 😘
good video its nice to see a women who is over 40 doing this.since lots of middle aged women have a hard time growing their hair.more women middle aged such as yourself should be doing these videos :) thanks
So helpful! My hair is pretty long now but I'd live to keep it as long and healthy as it is. I'd love to see a video on your daily makeup or maybe a spring outfit essentials? Love youuu❤️❤️❤️
Alex Centomo Can you do another video telling us how you look after your hair if you wash it every 5 days? I struggle after the 3rd day because my hair becomes really oily so I end up washing it.
Smitha Shankari Honestly, I just use dry shampoo!! That's all I do haha I find the one by bumble and bumble really hides all the oil and gives your hair soooo much volume! without leaving a white/powdery finish :)
I found this video super helpful! Your hair is gorgeous and basically my goal. Right now my hair is down to about my waist, not quite, and the extra length seems to be weighing it down so it's flat. Do you have any strategies for keeping your hair full of volume?
when i was younger my hair would grow 3 inches in a month. and they only reason i grew that much was because i always would sleep with my hair in the tightest ponytail or bun i could manage
I have hair to my hips but I have really bad split ends, I trim my hair whenever I notice split ends but i don't want my hair to get to an average length. The rest of my hair is healthy and shiny it's literally just the ends, anyone have any tips??💗😽🌸
I struggle with split ends too! And then realized it was cause I was in a chlorinated pool a lot so it was killliiinnngggg my hair! Do you go swimming often? Or use products that can be damaging??? Do you use heat a lot?
I've always wanted to grow my hair really long but could never give up heat completely since I felt so insecure with my hair texture. It's very similar to yours, curly/wavy/straight! So I never thought I could wear it completely natural. I've been wearing it natural though for the past two months and it looks beautiful! Thank you for inspiring me to take the leap I was never able to fully commit to for years :)
Hi Alex😃. I'm a big fan of you. I love watching your videos. This video is the reason why stop adding heat to my hair started taking care of my hair and it's has grown a inch or 2 in the pass month. You are my role model.
I cut my hair few weeks ago quite a lot cause it was soo dead it looked horrible, I used heat but just a few times and with some treatments likw masks and oil... also I don't wash my hair every single day. I drink water and eat fruits, exercise.. And still have split ends right know! Not every single hair or something but too much for taking such a care:( +I've been doing all of the things even before thw cut but it was so dead it won't help that much What to do to help my hair?
Split ends are inevitable, they happen to everyone! Just gotta make sure you're maintaining them. Try going a full 2 months without any heat and wash your hair less. See how that works!
I've had the same problem since forever, but my hairdresser told me a view tips: Use moisturising shampoo Use conditioner sfter shampoing Use a moisturising haimask every now and then USE ARGAN OIL ON YOUR ENDS AFTER SHOWERING < that changed my life. I hope that helps a little :)
I think I watched like 5 of your tutorials in a row now! Really love them. You said in an old one that you just trim your dead/ split ends by yourself sometimes - so maybe you can make a video where you show how you do that? or just tips on how you used to. I want to start trimming my own ends to save money but I'm really scared I mess it up somehow. Love from South Africa!
I stumbled on your channel this morning, and you have been an amazing inspiration to me! Your fitness ideas are so motivational and I love your hair and make up! You are per-fect!
I've just started watching your videos and its inspired me to be healthier and to treat my body right including my hair. This video was so helpful thank you for your tips!! ilysm!!
Thank you so much for making this video! From now on I will definitely try to limit my use of heat and get my hair trimmed more often. I want beautiful, healthy hair like yours for this summer :) You're honestly like my inspiration for everything, thank you for that too.
I love this video, will definitely be following these tips (already a good start because my school doesn't allow dying your hair)! My hair is exactly the same and varies everyday from curly at the end to looking stock straight but I have learnt to work with it and love it anyways, it's cool that you have done that too! Also love how you layered your necklaces
Alex! You're so down to earth and funny! I love your videos so much! Keep doing what you're doing! Thank you so much for inspiring me to be a more positive and thankful person
Wow, it's crazy how I can relate to every single thing you said in this video! I always use heat, I often cut my hair short (mostly during the summer) and it always grows till my shoulder/neck. THANK you for this video, I'm going to use the tips and see how it goes :) This really has opened my eyes, because I literally hate my natural hair!! Thank you Alex :D
Please do some no heat hair tutorials! I've been trying to grow my hair out its pretty long but where i have layers some places are still really short! my goal is atleast to my belly button, if not longer! Love your videos
Ayyy your hair is so gorgeous! Serious GOALS! I've been trying to grow out my hair forever...one thing that has been working for me is taking Viviscal, it's expensive which is the only downside :/ but works AMAZINGLY!
I grew out my hair from my chin to almost my belly button in three years just by quitting on regular trims. I only trim my hair once a year now, and I do it myself so that they don't accidentally take off too much, and my hair is still super healthy!
Love your videos and you. Do you still use the lush shampoo bar and conditioner? And I wanna start working out everyday, should I use dry shampoo each time I workout? What do you do?
This video is really good! I used to bleach my hair until last year but then my taste sort of changed and I wanted ms hair to look natural again. I only blow dry every 2 or three months and I never curl my hair. My hair is super straight but I don't even want to curl it because everybody loves it the way it looks and I get compliments and questions on my hair every day, it's crazy! Also I recommend to use silicone free Shampoos and don't condition that often, that helped even more to grow my hair! I cut it really short (about shoulder length) one and a half years ago and now it goes past my boobies! P.S. i love your Videos so much and I can't wait what you've planned for the next one! Beach hair ❤
*I have lost so much hair since having kids. I thought, why not try this out? Argan Rain has been the best decision! I have seen a very noticeable difference in the fullness and length of my hair in a very short amount of time. I definitely recommend this product!*
I have really thick curly hair, but I love it! I don't dye it and I don't use heat, so my hair tends to grow pretty fast! But I always seem to cut it when it gets around shoulder-length. I've decided to let it grow and stop cutting it off, so I can have beautiful, long, curly mermaid hair for this summer!💜💁🏼
Hi! I just found your videos today (and subscribed which I don't do often) and I just wanted to say omg you're so pretty! I've always wanted long hair (down to my tummy) but I have a hard time getting them past my boobs. I take care of my hair and I love DIYs and I seriously hate drinking water! You've inspired me to try and drink water more! I'm super excited to be watching your videos now 😊 ok I'm done 😅💕
I have a question I have naturally curly/wavy hair and I straighten it once a week Is that okay or should I just stop straightening it? I'm really thankful for answers .❤️
Love your hair!! ❤️ Can you post another video telling us the products (shampoo, conditioner, etc) you use on your hair since its blonde, and how you maintain the color. Please! 😃 oh, and is your hair cut in long layers ?
My hair is in bad shape! Love these types of videos! Thank you!! I'd love to see more videos that consist of your everyday diet. My hair is shoulder length. How long did it take you to grow yours out? Have you always had the same thickness - like.. have you noticed a difference in your hair since doing all of these things? xo love you
Alex I really love your hair!! I'm gonna start doing some of the things you said, because my hair isn´t growing since the past year. Also I´m from Argentina & I´m starting school in a week, it will be amazing if you could give some ideas of hairstyles! ♥♥ Thank you♥♥
Mine got thicker as it grew cause all my dead ends got stronger! But I stil don't have thickkkk hair like some people never will. But that's ok cause you don't need thick hair! embrace what you got
Super helpful video! Definitely gonna try the no heat on my hair during summer :) Could you do a hair tutorial on the braid you had at coachella photoshoot? (The side French fishtail don't really know how to call it) Love you
How do you sleep with your hair? Braidet or just open? And how do you dry it? I do it always in a messy bun is this okay? Ps love your videos and your personality :*
I recommend when you go to get your hair trimmed to not ask for a trim but to ask for a "dusting". dusting is a little less than a trim and it really benefits more if you are trying to grow your hair out. i say this because whenever I go and get a 'trim' I leave with WAYY to much hair cut off. I don't really know how to explain dusting so just look it up on RU-vid or something like that.
If you need to dye your hair - use all natural henna! You can dye as much as you want and it's permanent. Henna dye is made from a plant and with other added natural plant ingredients, it can be tweaked to different shades like brown, dark brown, deep mahogany, & burgundy and even black with added indigo. Henna can't bleach your hair, but it will dye it to a different shade or darken it. It has helped my hair 100% I buy mine at Henna Hut or Henna Guys.
Do you have any recommendations on hair products like shampoo and conditioner or any thing else that you like? I've been trying to grow my hair out and I don't use heat and I don't dye it but I was just trying some new things to help it grow :)
I'm thinking about not using heat for the entire summer, it's a great idea. 'beach hair'. Does heat protectant work so that you can use it more often? love your videos and could you please do a room tour? thanks ❤️😘
That is all true! I've never dyed my hair & rarely use heat on it & it won't stop growing. I've been having to get my hair cut every 2-3 months to maintain the length I want it to be
