I am in New Hampshire and plan to reclaim a strawberry field that has been dormant for 20 years. This helps, although I have much clearing to do first. Thank you.

Thank you. This video validated a couple things That i sort of "intuited" before seeing it. I have a 4' x 4' raised bed just for strawberries. I wondered if I weed-whacked the plants if it would benefit them. After seeing the video I'll use my edging shears for more precise, careful trimming. Instead of incorporating the trimmings, I think I'll use compost that I have here, and then put the trimmings in the compost bin for next time. PS, I'm down the road, in Bangor. I've subscribed to this channel, today, based on the strength of this video. Excellent job.

There is no scientific evidence that antioxidants have health benefits.

Thank you so much for good information. I have a very parochial question, as a avid, small backyard, lasagne gardener. I heard just recently that ever-bearings, as I have, just poop out about the end of year three. They do reproduce with runners. My question is, if I flag the first years plants, leave them to produce, and in the fall of their third to simply pull them and add them to the compost heap? Or, am I missing something? Thank you. My audio is out right now, so I had to lip read and follow along as best I could. I hope that my question is not redundant. Thank You!

You only do this with June bearers, not ever-bearers.
