HOW TO GROW TOMATOES IN AN OLD CONCRETE TROUGH 

We finally had success growing tomatoes in an old concrete trough. We have tried growing different vegetables in the past but have been unsuccessful due to weather conditions. Thunderstorms hot and humid weather then dry conditions seem to play a big part in our success. The varieties we planted were Tomato Value (Bunnings) Mighty Red and Tomatoberry by Floriana.
The liquid fertiliser we are using is Richgro - Black Marvel tomato and vegetable food. No pest control substance was used.
By far the best yielding and sweetest are the Tomatoberry variety.
