I definitely have to say that a rental assistance service is needed! My family is looking to relocate to the twin cities this year, and we rent. What we run up against are landlords and property management companies who do not deal with people remotely. We wish we had someone who could orchestrate that relationship since we simply can't afford the recon trip you speak of. Just a quick anecdote: my little family struggled to find rentals we could sign on remotely in Denver 4 years ago. No one would do that without us physically there, which we couldn't do, cuz life. Out of desperation, we finally found a property management willing to sign remotely. Sadly, the place was a complete bust for us and we left the city completely three days later. Had more companies been willing to refine the process of helping folks out of state relocate over zoom, we wouldn't have made a desperate decision on an inappropriate rental. I don't know why, especially after pandemic, it's not common for rentals to deal with people remotely, but it isn't really a thing. Help!

My family and I are visiting the Twin Cities next week to do a little research and neighborhood scouting. If the trip goes well (and i don't see why it won't) we'll be coming back to put our place up for sale and start the relocation process. I hope to be able to talk to you about our budget and wants and hear your thoughts.

Yes I would love to with someone knowing the area for renting. I don't think buying is in the cards right now. I'll be getting out of school in October hopefully will be done with testing by January. I want to have a short commute. As I am planing on getting into delta A&P Mechanic Position

Flying out to Minneapolis this August, from Texas, to spend a week touring the city and neighborhoods. We're multi-generational, native Texans, and this place is no longer safe. I'm a white, 40+ male with a BS in Aerospace Engineering. My wife has a BA in Dance and Masters in Education. We already have a school picked out up there, that is very much like the arts & academics school we're currently at. I think we may be looking mostly in the Roseville area, or the area starting at St Louis Park and just to the east, southeast and south of it. I'm only basing that off of the real estate listings I've seen online, and using Google maps street view. We're currently in one of Texas' larger metro areas, and driving anywhere is measured in time. Our commuting during the weeks range from 15-30 minutes, one-way. We're into theaters, museums, outdoor activities, etc., and we're pretty excited about the prospect of being around more like-minded families. We've watched several of your videos, and we may get in touch with you as August draws nearer.
