If the wiper blades does not lock-in to the hook check the locking tabs inside the side of the fitting are not pushed out. This would be a problem on old wiper blades being re-fixed. The locking tabs can be pushed-in with a pen, sharp object, etc. The wiper blade then locks in to the hook 😁

Absolute ball ache every single time. I’m convinced they make these fittings as F***ity Fiddly as possible. An oil change is easier than switching a wiper blade.

How much do you sell the we fit paper so I can change my windscreen wipers safely?

It didn't show how to unhook the old style windscreen wipers so not very helpful to me and my clumsy fingers.

Putting them on looks easy, getting old ones off not so easy and that is not shown.

Why is it they do not sell refill blades? Is there not much profit to be made from refills?

Remember Drivers side always has to be the longer wiper and passenger side always shorter one on most cars.

Sadly, his fingers are in the way and obscure what he is doing.

This video has too many advertising chat, get straight to the point. Start with the older clip versions not the easy pin type. Where is this information. I've just bought set 26 for my micra. Doesn't fit.

Looked easy. slip off slip on...lost patience and got boss to do it.

I went to buy a front and rear wiper blade a few days ago. Was told the rear needed a new wiper arm also as the plastic clip was broken ... but we don't have any in stock and we can't order them, I was told. How odd - can't order them? Why on Earth not? Seems very weird as well as not very good customer service. I later found a place not *too* far from our Halfords who *did* stock them - both the arm and blade for £22.05 *but* who don't fit them. If I buy the arm and blade from this other place and take it to White City Halfords, are they then going to charge me an arm and leg to do it (I don't have the tools to remove the big nut holding the arm on to the motor!) as I didn't buy it from yourselves? Hmmm bet they'd try. :)

Just had them do an mot for me, and they had my 3 series BMW convertible no more than five mins, when they called me to come into the workshop to see. I went and the radiator was gushing out water and the guy had the engine revving at 4000 without even thinking to switch it off. They damaged my radiator. This was a week after it failed on lights, and so as I hadn't finished regressing and servicing one brake, I took the wheel off and with the most gentle of touches to the brake line with a wire brush, and I know about mechanics, brake fluid was squirting everywhere. This means that had the lights been ok last week, I would be driving a car around with dangerous brakes. The failure sheet said nothing about rusted brake lines.halfords are terrible.

Why is your Brand name 'Halfords' written in all lowercase letters? Should be HALFORDS and who is the founder of Halfords? Imagine it was a guy named Hal and he lived in Salford, Manchester airgo ... halfords is born.

Useless video. Most wiper blade are not of this type. I guess Halfords are just trying to get you to pay for fitting. No instructions in the box either.
