How to HACK your E Bike Display 

For "Cruise control" when riding along get to your desired speed to cruise (must be above i think 10mph or so) and then... Hold the "Down" button for approx 5 seconds - You can now cruise at your chosen speed, it's great 👍😀 Cruise control will stop when you either move the throttle/throttle lever, or if you press either of your brakes. Walk Mode - Press and hold the "Down" button for approx 3-5 seconds. You can now walk alongside your bike and it will power itself as you walk with it (it helps if you keep hold of the bike 😅). Headlight ON/OFF - Hold "Up" button for approx 5 seconds, this turns your light on, hold it again for 5 secs it turns it OFF. To cycle through "max speed/battery current voltage/average speed/timer" press both together "UP" & "M" (middle button), pressing UP&M again will cycle onto the next of these 3 things - to go back to normal display press and hold "UP" & "DOWN" together. NOTE - My SW900 is a 2024 model, but these will probably work on any years model.

Setting number 15 is actually cutoff voltage. This is from the original SW900 manual. The manual presented in this video appears to be an outdated or wrongly copied one.

I need to really thank you I was messing around with the display not knowing what I was doing and my bike stopped working it wouldn't even go 5 miles an hour I had all these settings wrong I took this video and reset everything and now she purrs one think it was set at only 3 pas levels now I have it set to five than you very much

On 14 i upper the amps by 2 amps and it made the bike pull harder

what happens if i change the factory 12 amps to 18apms, i feel it gives more torque to the motor. after 10 mins everything seems normal nothing warms up

Gears 1 to 4 I am able to pedal, but 5th is just way too fast. I mean 4th while I pedal is about 15mph, but than I put t in 5th and it's 23mph and i can't pedal that fast. How do I fix that?

P11 should be set to 1 not 24 if you want the pedal assist to kick in sooner.

I was very disappointed when I took my first big ride and when I dismounted to explore my display would blank out and I couldn't get it back without restarting it which zero's out the trip odometer. I have a 500w 36v kit but i have the same sw900 controller which is set to 12 amps also but 12x36 =432 watts. Should i just increase it to 14amps to get 504 watts? My battery is a 17ah battery if that makes any difference.

Just take the wire off that's for the magnet the sensor some of them just unplug check out your controller

On my Wheelspeed 48v with S830 display I am on able to access P01(brightness) and P02 (km or miles). Is there a way to access the rest of the functions?

I can say that works only on specific controller and display. Some controller has password set up and even if you have password they programmed to have specific limit that will not make bike faster . Those setting are set for liability as some countries has restriction on max speed. I would not recommend to mess around as it can damage battery or motor and controller. Stay safe !

Harold...tried your system...my Rad City has only 4 options marked SEE 1,2,3,4. It only allows me to change tire size, top speed, illumination, and mph/km. Any experience with getting deeper into the programming of RAD specific controller/display. So frustrated by it turning odometer off when a brief stop happens... thx
