In this video we will be taking a look at how to hand paint eyes in ZBrush. We will begin with a simple sphere and by blocking out the base color for the iris. Then we will paint in the pupil and hand painted shadows. This is the stage when things really start to come alive and add depth to your eyes. It's really easy to overdo the paint though so make sure the your RGB intensity is set to around 10 or so. After shadows, we finish with a little bit of touch up. All in all I think it's a pretty easy process. Let me know what other tutorials/ videos you would like to see and you guys have a great day!

Compliments BIG TIME This is a really really good eye tutorial..I've tried almost a half dozen other eye tutorials and they all leave something out....Yours is without a doubt Numero uno...you cover it so easily simplistically and leave nothing to chance..from draw size to intensity to pen pressure You nail it all the way through...Thank you sooooo much

Hey Hi Tks for the tutorial, but there is some way to correct the high light of the material on the left eye.... it looks a bit wrong to me

Hello sorry to ask a stupid question but, when you got this '' texture '' out to get a texture map if you animate this characters eyes (like she is looking on the left) the '' line'' you draw black and Skin color in the eye won't follow anymore and it will look weird. What do you advice ? for the case it's a character that will be animated ? thanks for you reply in advance i really love your work

Don't hand paint shadows or highlights. Let your shader do the work.
