You can Hand Pollinate Flowers to Produce a Lot of Tomatoes by just tapping and shaking the flowers. Pollination for tomato flowers is necessary to produce tomatoes, otherwise you will end up with lots of flowers but no tomatoes.

I appreciate that you did not try to stretch it into a ten minute video with 8 or 9 minutes of drawn out build up. And a great little trick to get more fertilized blooms for a greater harvest. Thanks Jag!

I used a cheap electric toothbrush or used a q-tip and had those nose/ear hair clippers. I pressed the clipper on the q-tip and it vibrated fast enough to mimic a bee. Search up nose/ear hair clippers if you don’t know what it is.

Lack of nitrogen and nutrients in the soil. Add organic tomato fertilizer or more compost and worm castings.

I've actually been doing this for more than a month now. My cherry tomato plant has made many, many, many tomatoes (which I have to fight the birds if I want to harvest them); hwr, the big boy tomato plant isn't making too many. I've actually only had a handful of tomatoes from it & I've lost about half of those to birds. This morning I had 2 BEAUTIFUL BIG BOY TOMATOES... And of course, there were beak marks & missing tomato flesh w/skin gone more than halfway through the fruit! 😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😡 I don't know what to do about the birds now that I have tomatoes coming out well. In addition, I have a patio tomato plant that has a few tomatoes on it that are within a week, give or take, of turning red. I'm afraid the birds will gobble these up before they reach ripeness so I can harvest them. Any suggestions? The pollination tip works wonders! 😎😎👍

It's called Blossom Drop. Has it been really hot or really cold recently?
@valeriesanchez3074
@valeriesanchez3074 4 года назад
If you have plenty of big blooms but no tomatoes, it may be too cold and wet or too hot and dry. This results in what is known as blossom drop and will, of course, make it much more difficult for plants to produce fruit.
