I've been washing my work pants and bed sheets in the bathtub because my apartment's washing machine is so small. At least I'm saving some quarters, too.
Thanks, I don’t have a washing machine and I don’t have to pay extra for my water usage. So I’m just going to wash everything in my tub and set it out to dry. It’s going to save me so much money
One could use shampoo to wash out also. They are great for removing greasey spots in clothing and amazing on other stains also. Can use a vinegar rinse to neutralize any leftover residue from clothes. But, the clothes smell nice from the shampoo especially if there is conditioner in with the shampoo. Just a tip
I've lost so many shirts due to them shrinking in the wash. My mother would gaslight by saying its just you getting bigger, nobody else has this problem
I’m a kid and don’t know how to do laundry and if I ask my mom she is gonna be like what for? And it will be awkward because I don’t like asking her to wash my clothes
@S T Ξ Λ L T HWhy should she/he/they? Children should learn how to wash their own clothes. Did your parents spoil you or something? Mums are not maids and I'm freaking 16 so this isn't biased.
Huh. Simpler than I thought it'd be. Well, I'm glad to know this, because my washing machine is just about on death's door and I don't have the money to get it fixed, much less buy a new one.
I wash everything by hand - after a washing machine flooding he kitchen I realise that I didn't really need a washing machine. So for the past four years or so I have been washing everything by hand and quite honestly it does not take any longer than using a washing machine.
@@swerks197 People in different parts of the world have their laundry machines in different places. My family had a dedicated laundry room, but once I found people who had their laundry machines or setups in their bathrooms, I immediately copied them. Sorry for replying to a two year old comment, just wanted to share!
Lol, I didn't soak mine, I just swished my clothes left and right like a washing machine for like 5 mins squeezing in between, then I rinsed the soap off. Hey c'mon, it was only a shirt and a pair of shorts.
I've had a washing machine all my life but it's a pain when multiple people have piles of their own stuff to wash frequently. I have a couple of small things I ideally need washing "right now" for use in a couple of hours and washing by hand seems the best way. I'm here because... I gotta start somewhere.
Followed directions exactly. It's such a hassle trying to rinse clean clothes with a miniature watering can like shown. They always seem to smell like soap or whatever detergent I end up using. Should I skip adding soap? What would a better solution be? Do they make industrial-sized watering cans for rinsing clean hand-washed apparel??
i leave my house about 2 months ago... and i live on rent in another city.. i come here to work.. i rent a room... and coock my food.. now i need to learn how to wash cloths
I like to hand wash my clothes it's relaxing after a week of work... And if you put some songs while doing it, it really becomes enjoyable... Plus yeah you save water.... Washing machines I don't use (even though my family has one) I get frustrated connecting them, then having to pay attention to when they finish and sometimes my washing machine stops working in the middle of the process and I have to restart it.... So thank you for the video I'll apply some of the tips to improve my hand wash clothes journey...❤
Thankyou for this vid and anybody reading the comments just wanted to say God loves you ! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16 have an awesome day !
Put in basket/pail with water and detergent, stomp them with foot for about 15 minutes or more while taking shower, then rinse them a couple of time, done!
The background music is terrible and extremely distracting. For someone who can barely understand people with accents, it really sucks when you add music to further the lack of hearing/understanding.
Dude this saved my life. I'm 13 and I just attended boarding school. My grandmother never teach me how to wash clothes by hand because she never really let me do chores when i was younger. So thank you so, very much. :D
My 10 years old self looking at me rn watching a youtube video about how to do laundry when I decided to never learn how to wash so I won't lose respect to adults.
I hope I can do this because I put on one of my favourite white shirts 2 hours ago after work and I got on the bus looked down and saw little lines of black on it idk what I is cause all I've done is walk in some rain
Had surgery and i dont have anyone to help me care for myself, and i have to handwash my own compression garment, so watching this so i dont have to have musty fabric pressed against my incisions Thanks :)
idk, im not financially required to do this, nor do i need to do this due to any other reason, i just like taking care of my stuff properly, tbh im kinda lazy about the drying part tho.
