I'm here mainly because I'm bored, learning to be independent came second to that for me. The first week of quarantine all I did was video games, Tiktok, sleep, eat, shower. For the second week and upcoming weeks I just want to do something productive with my time. My mom's been doing the chores for me since she wants me to focus on my studies. I don't pride myself in not knowing how to do shit, I just had other priorities. I barely get sleep just doing my academics. So, thank you for this.
ako dahil nag away kami sa washing machine ng tatay ko. Siya naka sira pero sa akin pina ako kaya mag hand wash ako pota di ko na gagamitin ung washing machine namin bibili na lang ako ng sakin
I can't believe that I will search for this kind of video one day. I really need this. I don't have any idea on how to wash clothes and this one really helped me.
eto oh para 5 minutes lang step 1 0:05 sorting the clothes step 2 0:48 wet the clothes before washing step 3 3:00 wash the clothes with detergent powder step 4 8:54 rinsing the clothes *NOTE* 10:58 repeat rinsing the clothes 3 to 4 times or *until the water is clear* step 5 12:00 hang the clothes
@@annettec8261 I'd like to say, "[sa tingin] mo lang?!" But I'm not sure u speak Tagalog. But, yes, it is _a lot_ of work that's why laundry shops are popular (here in Philippines)
Thank you for this. I'm moving into a place without my own washer and dryer for the first time in awhile. I have to pay for water at a flat fee per month, and while they have a coin op laundry mat in the complex, I'll stick it to them with doing my own laundry and use the water they're charging me for.
Exactly. For eight years I collected the water that comes out of the shower, before it gets hot. Then I used that for plants, flushing and laundry, when the washing machine is being used. Really saved money every month on water costs. I learned to recycle. Hang to dry saves money on electric bills.
simple way to rinse clothes... next time just grab the clothes neckline to straighten them and then pull up and down into the water few times... it'll be a lot cleaner than rinsing crumple clothes...
Thank you! Ii knew how to handwash clothes very old school way with a bat and right now I dont have one. So I wanted to see how to truly hand wash. This is great!
@@mundofanuu , I live in an area that has electricity and cellphone towers. But if I didn't live in this area, I could install solar panels hooked up to car batteries that store the electricity. Then, I could charge a cellphone off of the panels and batteries. All that I would need is near-enough cellphone towers.
That is a lot of detergent for the small amount of water you are using. If you used less detergent your clothes would not need to be rinsed as many times, and would still be clean.
Hi Kelly S , my maid taught me to use a lot of soap because we want a lot of lather. The thick lather prevents our hands and backs of fingers from being rubbed raw when scrubbing the clothing between our fists. My maid and I prefer to use a bar of hand soap, especially Ivory soap, instead of powdered soap. Ivory soap does a better job of getting rid of stains.
@@ainasri4412 , I now live in a place that has electricity. So, I don't have a maid now and I use a washing machine. I had a maid when I lived in a place that didn't have electricity. While living there, all clothes had to be washed by hand.
Welp, came here because the last time I washed my clothes are back in third grade and I need to record myself doing laundry now on 8th grade. First time I didn't trust my gut feeling/instincts doing something. Afraid to screw this up. I need to level up that 92 average on TLE

I just don't want to do laundry in our garage anymore, with what I found this morning. I rather go to the front yard and do laundry in a bucket, in holy peace.

Seems like u r army and a blink that u r playing idol and forever young, euphoria in the background and this video was really helpful as my mother also wanted me to try washing my own clothes
Great video . With my shirts underwear and less stained stuff I just soak in very little peppermint Castile soap or a natural shampoo maybe put on drop of pepper essential oil and agitate a few times and it cleans deodorizes with out rinsing and much damage clothes . If I have shorts with get more dirty I put very little water and very little laundry soap and wash no rinse put aside and use and rinse in the first shirts water when I’m finished with with the shirts using very little water and soap.
I'm here because of my asian mom who scold me every time to wash my clothes but doesn't teach me how. She always say "I was just 8 years old when i started washing my own clothes" tho i respect her but...

Best video. I like that the buckets are smaller and easy to handle. I do small loads by hand every couple of days. So easy ! And I enjoy it actually. Feels good to see the results. 🧼🪴🏡🛀
