the suede definitely will bleed and fade with the repeated washing, and lose its softness. If you have a brass bristle brush, you can reset the nap after washing to make it soft again. Embrace the fading/changes as you wear and wash the clothing, it's what the designer intended on!
Really helpful video and a great channel! I was wondering if I could ask you how you wash your 101 jackets. I have one in the damaged denim (D1001) and it's really nice, but as it's the older model as opposed to the more recent loose ones I don't want it to shrink as it's already slim enough and am a little worried about that. Do you think that would shrink similarly to the jeans in this video? And if so would you recommend completely cold washing it? Thanks for reading!
Hey there! Thanks for watching. Yes I would recommend only wash it in warm/hot water if you're deliberately trying to shrink something. In all other cases wash in cold water and hang dry!
