I have a patchy beard, I've been growing it now 4 months. But all of Eric's videos have just inspired me to embrace the patches love my beard for what it is, and just let it grow. Thank you beard brand for the amazing videos! Cheers and beard on.
My beard is more patch than beard, but I still rock it with all I've got because I like it and it's the best I can do. People tend to give me a free pass and compliment it anyway just because I'm Asian and can grow a beard at all, lmao.
You're right. We always have our own reservations about our beards. For me, it's that my right side has a slightly stronger and quicker growth overall. Nobody in public would notice, like with most beard "deficiencies".
It's odd how there's almost always one small thing we don't love about our beards. But just like you said, nobody will notice this and it's important to flaunt what we've got! Everybody's style is their own. - Jack
The underlip gaps on each side of the soulpatch is super common for majority of men it doesnt really matter if its all filled in or not actually alot actually prefer the loook with gaps
Not only do I deal with my beard patches, but I've noticed my beard cowlicks are extremely stubborn and problematic which has made me extra careful and particular on how how trim/edge my beard. Another great video by the way, beard on!
This REALLY spoke to me! By the sounds of it, our beard's are very similar. Mine is thinner in the cheek area, full in front and stash. I have never grown out a full beard. I plan to in November. I'm going for the yeard! (a little wager with some friends) Love your products! Wish me luck brother! This vid gave me the confidence I needed. Thanks.
I give the follicles that grow slow a headstart. My moustache and chin hair grows slow,so I keep it and shave the rest of it off for like a month. Once it is of acceptable length I grow the rest of my beard. Hope this will help you
Awesome advice Eric! I have a patch in my left cheek, and the longer the beard is, it becomes more noticeable. So, I trimed with the number 2 (except for the mustache) and im going for the beardstache!
Very true Eric. Great BEARDBRAND 👍✌️👌 And I want to know Eric how I can serve myself for BEARDBRAND in future . And if it is possible then my dream is come true or I achieve my goal .
Eric doesn't need to worry about beard patches, it still looks damn good. I do, coz I my beard doesn't grow halfway above the chin. But again, it's not the best beard, but it's my beard, and I'll just embrace it!
Yeah, my right side grow thicker than my left side. But now that I've left my cheeks alone my left side has caught up with the right and no one can even really tell. So, it seems just by letting your beard grow, most problems will subside and be minimized.
I will be 20 in a month and I recently cut it off... My life was just not going the way I wanted it to go so I once just sat against the mirror for 20 minutes and cut my beard off. I will grow it back, no worries, eventhough my beard is sparse, patchy and incomplete. my patch in the middle of my mustache is kinda funny and I like it a bit as well, I guess it will draw enough attention xD
My left side is thinner on the sides and grows in a different direction. I keep that side a little longer so it hopefully lays flatter. If I keep the right side the same length it gets too thick and it's more apparent that it's growing in a different direction and with my fullness.
An important message stated well....thanks Eric. This is timely, too-- I'm a little bummed-out about my beard and 'stache after watching the World Beard and Mustache Championships (a contender I will never be). Thanks, Beardbrand!
If that's you in your profile picture, we'd say you've absolutely got a shot at being a contender! That beard's a beauty! Thanks for the support too! - Jack
@Beardbrand Yeah, that's me, and thank you so much for the kind words! I used that picture, though, as it minimizes my many deficiencies, including a mustache that reaches terminal length in 2 months! Great video, and again, thank you for the kind remarks 👍
The main thing that I would ask of the beard genie is for my beard to be one color. Not the full spectrum of natural hair color. I have white, black, brown, blonde, platinum blonde, and strawberry blonde.
That doesn't necessarily sound like a bad thing! We bet your beard looks really cool and unique with that many colors! Not sure if beard genies exist, but here's about as close as you can get to one: Jeff explaining how to dye your beard (if you decide you'd like just one color, that is) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hlz8IHGXUVI.html - Jack
LOL! No dyes for me. Just waiting for it to go white/salt and pepper all the way. Yeah that's a perspective I didn't consider. It's weird though, because I was born with really really blonde hair. It turned dishwater blonde over the years (now with some grey). However, I don't know where the black hair came from. Thanks for the response!
Andromydous lol Im somewhat in the same boat. My hair is black but the past few years it's slightly turning brown, with about 4 blonde hairs through out my beard. I'm only 24.
As far as I know that's all of them, besides dishwater blonde. There's a distinct difference between them all. Platinum is so light blonde that it's almost white. Strawberry blonde is like light red hair with blonde highlights mixed in. Dishwater blonde is similar to strawberry blonde except just replace light red hair with light brown. Yes, all of them are natural colors.
Will Beardbrand ever make a bodywash? I love the beard wash and use it for my hair from time to time. I'd love to see some wash for head hair and body!
Next video how to deal with beard acne, coz i have it and don't know how to get rid of it, i shaved my four months beard was hoping to get rid of the acne but it didn't work out.
M. AbdulAziz depending on how bad your acne is, but I've always just gotten a pair of tweezers and plucked the hairs out where my pimple was. It can be pretty painful, but it's something that has always worked for me. 🍻
Check these two videos I did on the subject matter: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V2RMZYzTpRg.html & ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8cO3UHmceVw.html
My beard is trying to grow into a full beard but is patchy on the cheeks,I do see hair growing in there to fill it in but it's taking forever to grow, lol. It looks like an Amish beard except I have a mustache and a goatee so should I let my beard grow due to the patchiness?
I know for one think I got a small patch from plucking one too many on the side of my right cheek. Like not much grows in the middle of the cheeks. Thankfully as it gets longer all the hair covers well.
What about a patchy chin? My side burns grow in decently thick but a little low on the check, my mustache isn’t too bad, but the chin area is like a clearing in a forest. My neck also grows in pretty fast. I’ve tried growing it out twice before but didn’t like the look so much so I just shaved it off. Maybe I’ll grow it out for a bit and shave everything besides the mustache...
Awesome video! I don't have a patchy beard but there are 2 patches that just don't grow! My moustache is almost entirely separate from beard, they just won't connect. What do I do? I rock what I got and use some beardbrand utility balm and get on with it!
Have the weirdest patchy beard! I have growth on cheeks, mustache, soul patch, and everything else!!!! Except.... my chin and directly under my chin. What I can grow comes in sparse on chin, and weird and matted ( no length) underneath chin/neck??!! I have grown it for almost two years to no avail! I’ve tried all kinds of treatments. I’m thinking of seeing a dermatologist? Any insight? Help please!!!
BRO I MIGHT HAVE SOLVED YOUR PROBLEM THOSE WAVES ON THE CHEEKS ARE NORMAL BUT LISTEN DONT YOU THINK IF YOU LET THOSE HAIRS GROW ABOVE YOUR LINES ON THE CHEEK IT WILL MAKE THE SIDES OF YOUR BEARD MUCH FULLER YOU COULD BE HANDICAPING YOURSELF BY CUTTIN THOSE HAIRS !
I've had my beard for a few years now. I've never I longer full one it's always been short. Do you have any tips for me on trimming and how to get my mustache to be bigger?
Theres a section of my neck, right hand side that literally has 4 follicles in it hahaha. Pisses me off. One option to combat it would be to go for the George Lucas no hair neck. And thats a nope. 🤣
Yes. My beard growth has significantly improved, especially on the cheeks. Here's my jouney over the past three months. imgur.com/a/8KPTz I'm using Kirklands 5% liquid ^^
Wow your beard pattern is a spitting image of mine. I gotta try. I'm almost 23 and wondering if those little light baby hairs in between the dark developed long hairs will eventually fill in like the ones you have in that picture. Your comment is over a year old, any updates?
I'm 17, 18 in a few months. I have a decently full beard (it grows in kinda reddish), but my only problem is that my mustache grows in blonde, and much thinner than the rest of my beard. My eyebrows are also blonde. Do you think my mustache will grow in darker and thicker as I grow older?
But what woman wants to eat hair? I like how moustache looks but I can't stand hairs in my mouth or in the way when kissing "enthusiastically" lol I keep it short
My beard has a good shape and form but mine if you look at the chin on the side there is this slit of emptyness. IT DRIVES ME BANANAS LOL!!!! So I just push my chin hair back a little bit an it is covered but doesn't last long. Thanks for the upload!!!
I'm getting some white in my beard & i'm only 23, I'm actually pretty bummed out about it, I don't want to shave my beard or anything but would you suggest dying it? I don't have a significant amount of white yet, but it is noticeable to me, I have plucked a few in the past but it's a losing battle, I am having a very hard time accepting it, do you think I should just embrace my beard? It is very hard.
That's an interesting subject to approach. At the end of the day, your beard is your own beard. If you do decide to dye your beard, Jeff made a great video on how you can go about that and what to expect: How to Dye Your Beard | Jeff Buoncristiano ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hlz8IHGXUVI.html BUT, if you decide that you want to keep it all natural and rock the white hairs, Carlos actually made a video on why he DOESN'T dye his beard: Why I Don't Dye My Beard | Carlos Costa ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-13gaY85r5sI.html Like we said though, it's ultimately up to you and whatever you're most comfortable with doing. Hope this helps! - Jack
Brandon Lee if you're going to dye it, don't use just for men. use a natural product like henna and indigo powder. way healthier for the skin and beard
Brandon Lee I would rock the look. Being a younger guy with white/grey hair is pretty unique and you would be surprised at how many women love that look, if that's what your worried about. If you still want to get rid of the whites I would avoid plucking them and dye it with something all natural like the above poster suggested.
A lot of guys experience that same phenomenon. Eventually it may grow longer, it'll take some time though. In the meantime, rock what you have, we bet it looks great! - Jack
You guys have a million videos of how to grow a beard, how to groom a beard.... but what about how to eat with a beard? I get food ALLLL over my damn self when I eat and my beard isn't even that big. How can I avoid carrying a napkin on me at all times when I eat in public!?
We've done a few videos on eating with a beard. One by me and one by Jeff: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VHYJs7yGJ7E.html & ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uof7MMAB9go.html
Omg beard is beauty , but man those mustache is bljaaakkkk how gonma kiss some girl you? or how gonna kiss you some girl or how gonna drink something big mustache is not god for me!
Totally, you hit the nail right on the head when you said we're all our own worst critics. Half the battle of style is accepting and appreciating the way you look. We all have our own unique styles, the key is to rock what we've got. Also, Eric is 36. - Jack
When the people at Beardbrand say they have "patches" is the equivalent of when Trump said "My dad gave me a small loan of a million dollars" You are just being ridiculous my lads.
