Missed an important caveat. If you’re forced to take their drop off the bounce, their court position determines your fourth ball. If they’re still back then you hit a topspin ground stroke to keep them there. But if they recognized their drop was money and crashed the net, you need to hit a dink. Otherwise the ground stroke is just a bad speed up.
