+The Lioness Lane Thank you! The cleats that are given to me with the mirror are never long enough and I cannot center them in the studs. And my local hardware store only has the flimsy cleats which make me even more nervous living near an air force base. I have added annotations to the video to insure my viewers know about their alternatives. Hugs and love, Cathryn
Your mirror looks great!! I purchased a similar rail from Home Depot. I think it was called a French cleet if I'm not mistaken. I paid around eight dollars for it. I needed to hang a DIY tufted headboard in my guest room and it did the job. The packaging says it can hold up to 200 lbs. Definitely worth the investment.
+silverteacakes Hey you! Thanks for using the correct terminology. The cleats that are given to me are never long enough and I cannot center them in the studs. And my local hardware store only has the flimsy ones which make me even more nervous living near an air force base. Thanks to you I did add annotations to the video to insure my viewers knew about their alternatives. Hugs and love, Cathryn

+AMATEUR DECORATING LIKE A PRO That's great and very helpful. I have a huge mirror that I want to hang and doing it this way would be perfect. Thank you!
Hi Cathryn!! Beautiful mirror and quite a deal! Wish we had a liquidation center nearby. Great demo on the installation!! Now that I see this rail system, I really like how securely the mirror can be hung. Tfs, have a wonderful week! Liza:))

+deborah brown Thanks Deborah. That is why the cleats at the store were so frightening. I could only drill/insert one screw in a stud because the holes in the cleats were too far apart. Hugs and love, Cathryn
Hey I just hung a similar mirror in my dining room, but it’s square 43” around. From the ceiling I anticipated 12”, but it’s 11 and 45” from the floor. When I stand in front of it, I can see my torso, but not my stomach. I’m giving u this visual to find out if i could have went lower.

+AMATEUR DECORATING LIKE A PRO One more thing. The name of the store is Cash Liquidations. They are located in Forsyth Georgia. They purchase furniture from luxury hotels. I have shopped there for nearly 15 years. Here is the link to a short video where I toured the store. Take care Darling! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G0L54Z7E7DE.html
