Decent video, wee tip, when marking up the small piece instead of using a pencil use a tape measure, follow same process as youve done but press on end of tape measure, that will mark the paper no need for any pencil line. Your way is fine though. 👍🏻
Its looks like heavy weight vinyl to me and I think she said you can't use a pencil , but because they are just learning they can, as long as they cut the pencil mark off. Looks just like how I was taught at college. I think she's great
Do you explain about going around an external, and cutting it with a 1/4", so you can then wrap around 1/4" (ish) and then re hang the off cut... and plumb it in.. then you keep it plumb for the next length. As the way you've shown works with a true corner, but in the real world... they run out and with a pattern paper you may have to lose some pattern on the trim off so you can adjust and plumb it for the subsequent lengths.
That would blow their minds at L1 , 😂but the group goes onto a L3 so yes we do 👍🏻. We are lucky enough to have true corners in our workshops for when they’re 1st starting out
@@L1students show them wallpaper that has two rolls.. A and a B roll.. like this... Now this was sweaty Betty putting that on. Keep up the good work. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wB3aQzRqMxA.html
Never use a pencil on a finished face paper. Don't use a seem roller on an embossed paper where is all the proper teachers gone if I was to paper like that my old boss would have kicked me out the room
Judi, if you think you can do better than her show us how YOU do it. I'm an EngTech with no decorating experience, but I know a good teacher and skilled professional when I see one. I'm v impressed with her knowledge that I'd pay to have her teach me if I wasn't living in Scotland.
