Your lettuce looks great! I'm a retired agriculture teacher and I taught greenhouse and plant science classes. My students always enjoyed growing lettuce. It grows fast enough that it kept their interest and kept them busy! I love a good butterhead lettuce. Growing lettuce at home is also a great way to grow a bunch of types of lettuce to make a killer salad. Fun textures and colors make salad even more enjoyable. I included this video in a post about growing lettuce in containers that I recently wrote: farminence.com/growing-lettuce-in-containers
Hi Valley Nursey! Such a pretty presentation! The colors are lovely! What spacing do you recommend the simpson lettuce since they seem tight in your video? Is it okay that they are that tightly spaced?
They're so beautiful!~ I wish I could grow plants where I am but sadly I live in a really hot and dry country :( one day I'll be able to move somewhere nicer...
There are some extremely heat resistant varieties of lettuce that can take 37C weather, as well as many tropical greens like kang kong and sweet potato leaves that you can grow in really hot weather.
@@ginsederp I'll look into it thank you. but the weather here is dry and gets hotter than 40C sometimes. They don't register these temperatures officially because that will force authorities to close business and schools.
