I've just discovered you. Can't sleep so wandered on to you tube for some quilting/sewing tips. I've learnt loads and may go into my new craft room to cut up my charm pack. Thank you Gourmet. You're an excellent teacher and come across as a lovely person. You've inspired me. I shall subscribe xxx
I think that is BRILLIANT! I love the design in the center of your print out. I have 100's of bright-colored 5" squares left over from a quilt I made years ago. I am going to try this. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the video!
You're so generous with your knowledge. I also love 5" squares. I am definetly going to try cutting some of mine with a plain color and whip up a baby quilt. Thank you for inspiring many. Yvonne Porter, Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA
Thank you for all of the 5" square demos! I've become a hoarder it seems, almost overnight. It's very helpful to see what you can make with just one charm pack!
I just found you!! I love the pinwheel arrangement and I’m going to make a baby quilt using your pattern. I look forward to seeing more from your channel
I made my son and daughter in law with this same patter for Christmas last year. I used white ad for the solid color and ther other pick flowers and it turned out so pretty. I hope you have a great week.
You are very clever. I believe your sewing machine is a Pfaff, my favorite. You should engage your IDT on your foot. It is a walking foot so both pieces of fabric move through at the same speed.
I have a charm pack that I picked up with images from the Nancy Drew mystery novels. I just loved the books as a girl and the fabric made me quite nostalgic. The final zig-zagged layout would be adorable for those prints. I have yardage of black and grey with a magnifying glass to use in place of the white. I'm excited to find a use for those darling squares.
Each time I view your creativity I'm amazed. Thank you for sharing with us your great creative mind.i agree with Yvonne you are so generous with your ideas and knowledge! Your arrangement and placement of color is truely a gift.have you taken courses in some college or some place at fabric and it's ways to use it? Your designs with shapes also. I like 5 or 51/2 inch squares.😊 I just watched your boat videos, I really appreciate you sharing your life, besides your abilities. Was your Mom a sewer, crafter? Or just something built in you? We are glad you are doing what your gifted at. Bonnie Bartlow, Modesto, California,USA
Thank you for your tutorials I have been learning so much! I love your accent and hope to visit across the pond. Its a dream of mine to spend a month in Great Britain
I learn,so much, with the tutorials. I plan to make this block. Nevertheless, I must mention, that I have look away,as the camera keeps focusing in and out. I get dizzy. I would like to see your tutorials overhead stationary. Please.
Hello Gourmetquilter, hope you read these questions even though this video is older?? I would like to make these blocks but wanted to use layer cake block. What measurements would you use to cut those 10" squares??
