Ice pack works well with saran wrap first 12 hours do it for 30 mins on swollen area. Closes pores and reduces swelling which minimizes flaking. Do it first 12 then day after in next 12. Hold ice on area for 30 mins at a time and then next area if a larger piece. Dry it off with paper towel when done.

jesco white yeah man! It really doesn’t matter if you even dry heal a tattoo, many people I know who have had tattoos by unreal world top artists, have dry healed them because that’s what they have told them to do and they have healed perfectly too, everybtattoo enters a dry flaky stage, my skin gets sensitive when that starts to happen because I feel skin gets tight, so I use cream to try sooty that stage

@@OLIVERAYRE agree agree , i´we tried everything from h2ocean to bephanthen to lotion but it took maybe 30 - 40 days to heal , h2ocean destroyed one of my tattoos got big scabs and scars , switched to hustlebutter and it was magic , swelling almost gone within hour and like you said one maybe two times a day thin layer and it heals bright and fast . took a while to get that you should leave your tattoo to breath first 2 days no cream so it can be dry , works perfect . keep up the good work man always fun to see you in action .

Love your content mate! Can you do a video on how to design a tattoo design specifically? I feel like when I’m drawing up a design I get overwhelmed and end up adding to many things and it ends up looking clutter like maybe a video on how to keep it simple but make it look good at the same time plz ? Keep up the great work 🙌

You mentioned not to use Bepanthen because it is a nappy rash product, but what about the Bepanthen Tattoo Cream product?

Does it make a difference weather you keep the film on for a few hours or a few days? I see people do both and was wondering which works best?

Some sound advice here. If you apply too much balm then it blocks the pores which increases scabbing and scabbing causes ink loss as you showed. (as does dry healing) All the tattoos I have done have not scabbed at all or the very least soft scabbing, so no touch ups have ever been needed, but that depends on the client and how they look after it. There is also nothing wrong with Bepanthen at all unless you happen to be vegan because it has lanolin in it, I personally don't use it but there's nothing wrong with it as everyone used it before these over inflated brands started tapping into the big money market with their own versions. Hustle Butter is good, smells great but it's overpriced and too many oils and extracts, Ink-eeze has petroleum in it the same as less expensive Vaseline it just smells better. I now make my own from natural products, zero additives and tattoos heal quicker at a fraction of the price, use before, during and after just like Hustle butter.

@@whyamihere751 Bepanthem brought out a a new tattoo balm last year which still has lanolin in it (??), basically the same thing with the word 'tattoo' on the packaging to get in on the lucrative market. Raw shea butter is the best, all brands use it as a base product they just add fragrance and preservatives and up goes the price. Any healing balm with petroleum in it will draw the ink out.

Good evening, could you make a video of how you create sketches ? And in General, is it worth it to draw well to become a tattooist ?
@OLIVERAYRE
@OLIVERAYRE 4 года назад
Тайский бокс Муай Тай!!! Hello mate, I think drawing definitely makes your hand muscles more stronger for tattooing! I don’t believe you have to be a good drawer to be a good tattooist! Having said this, I feel like if you can copy well from a reference in drawing, it will definitely help you to become a better tattooist to begin with.

@@joshcookify after the tattoo is done, rapped with clean foil. The next day the foil has to be removed and approx. 2-3 times a day we wash it gently with water and antibacterial soap, wash clean with lukewarm and then cold water, dray it with paper towel, let it completely air dry then apply with thick Bepanthen cream and re-wrap with foil. After 3 days, leave the foil and apply only Bepanthen cream 2-3 times a day. We lubricate the tattoos for 2 weeks.

i advise against clean film also.iḿ a tattoist,used it before but advise against now. skin dont breathe,better to use a breatheable protection till u get home and then leave it to dry normally
@OLIVERAYRE
@OLIVERAYRE 5 лет назад
missmandragora9 yeah as long as you don’t sweat in it, most people make the mistake of rewrapping it, any protection is best, I’ve done videos on breathable tattoo films you can wrap it with, cling film is just the easiest and best way to protect it for the first few hours.

NOPE! Bad advice. I've been tattooing for over 20 years so I have a ton of experience with healing tattoos. HERE'S HOW TO HEAL YOUR TATTOOS: Leave it bandaged for at least 2-3 hours. If it's late at night, it's okay to leave the bandage on until the morning. It won't hurt it, and it'll keep it from drying up and sticking to your bed sheets. The first 3 days are CRUCIAL for keeping your tattoo VERY lightly moisturized with either A&D or Bacitracin. (3x/day) - You don't need to buy any of that gimmicky "tattoo healing savle". Those are just companies trying to make money off of the industry. Wash your hands, then wash your tattoo with antibacterial soap. Rinse, pat dry with a PAPER TOWEL (not a bath towel), let it get some air for about 20 mins or so, and add your A&D or Bacitracin. JUST A LITTLE BIT!!! Only add enough so that it's BARELY shiny. The fact that he has scabs forming on day 2 is because he didn't keep it LIGHTLY moisturized. Scabs form because it's the body's natural reaction to a wound. Scabs can (and usually DO) form down as deep as the third layer of skin. The ink from your tattoo is deposited into the second layer, so when the scabs come off, they take the ink with them. To prevent scabs from forming AT ALL, keep that shit lightly moisturized!!!! On day 4, switch from the A&D or Bacitracin (whatever you're using), to a NON-SCENTED hand lotion. Aquaphor is really good (and preferred!), but if for some reason you can't find it, use any non-scented hand lotion you can find. You'll know when you need to add more lotion because your tattoo will feel tight and dry. Always keep your tattoo as clean as humanly possible. Don't wear anything over it that's tight or abrasive (loose, clean clothes are best), don't rebandage it, and for the love of God... wash your hands before touching it! Do what I said above, and you won't have to worry about scabbing and losing any ink (unless of course your artist was rough on you, in which case it'll scab regardless of what you do for aftercare). -- HAPPY HEALING!
