Aaron can you please do something on limerence - I need to understand what it stems from and why we do it. I am in a situation with a man who is not making clear his intentions and I am afraid to ask him and this is going on for two years. I just found it it's called limerences. Why am I just hearing about this and apparently it happens a lot

This is so true! Once I stopped seeing myself as a victim, I stopped viewing others as narcissistic. As I stood up for myself and set more boundaries, people either respected it or deselected themselves and both is okay! As long as I know I kept my frame then no one is a victim or villain. Everyone has a choice.

Wishing you the best. I just let go of all that emotional resentment from a coworkers nasty manipulation. They have left now and I am finally able to break the rumination. I had to feel the deep emotions at work so I closed my self in an exam room (I work at a clinic) and proceeded to process the emotion. The hurt. And really the resentment. I feel free since this person has been gone

You know what! Your karma is me being dissapointed because you didn't work out the way I thought it should after I rescued you. Your karma is the dissapointed military who are dissapointed because rescuing you didn't work out the way they hopes America would turn out, you became selfish because you couldn't control outcome. 😂 They see you post this kind of content and think.... Parents are dissapointed with their children's choices all the time and yet they still rescue their children and make sacrifices of their self and they aren't dependant on their children... What they gave to you as a kid, you gage back to your mom, that was her karma. Or dharma. We do take care of our parents when they get older that's the cycle of life. Nothing wrong or codependent about helping others. You gotta have resources energy and strength to help others...

Even if it was dependency your looking at it like it's something wrong with it..... God created woman so he would have a helper! People are designed to need people... god created woman So man wouldn't get lonely. He created partnership and teammates. Nothing not ever rocks or trees were created alone. Each one helps the other, and helps the earth, and the earth returns the favor. At very least you look at this dependency if its that, negatively and not as a beautiful way of being. A abundant way of being. All because you got dissapointed in all the people you helped.

Don't help people if you think it gives you some sort of right to control them. To control outcome. To have exspectations of them because you helped them.

The Bible says help people without expecting anything in return. That's where your rewards are!

Can sympathize. My narcissistic father beat us if we got a “C” or less. It took years (And lots of therapy & introspection) to forgive him of All the abuse, but it was so Freeing & worth the pain in reliving those emotions. Aaron says “you have to feel it to heal it” and I know you have the courage to do this inner child work! Take this journey to face your emotions to transmute them. You are powerful! 💥✨💖

Firstly, I sure hope you are not in contact with them for the most part. I had to move across the country for 15 years to accomplish that. Second, there is no “recover” because we cannot move back in time. I found myself with regrets of many kinds because I subconsciously wanted to go back in time and make different choices with different people. You need to release that wish. It cannot happen. When that inner work is done, then you can look towards a future that you imagine for yourself, but only based on your current starting point. Time only moves in one direction. If you keep looking back while time moves forwards, you will waste valuable time you could be using to steer yourself towards a happier future. Cut the past and don’t look there anymore. Imagine a happier future and make a plan to get there. I wish you luck.

@@cecilang9721 thank you. Appreciate your insight. I am aware of all this theoretically but in reality everything seems too painful and too real to just move on. I feel like I have nothing left to move on too. And with my parents/family, with Indian parents, you can do x100 of whatever we think is toxic in the US. I am in the US but have allowed them to torture me from India for decades. And now all the toxicity still remains and everything comes flooding back when my mother declares on the phone that she is the best parent out there while the entire toxicity, manipulation is pretty much documented and in plain sight for everybody to see.
