The way THX works, is by adjusting it before sending out the signal, so even if it is split afterword, it shouldn't make a difference. I can't say with 100% certainty though. I would recommend activating the free trial and give it a go.

I believe your headphones should have come with a code to download the THX software for free. I could be mistaken though

What this program does is interpret the sound information being sent from the game, which is in stereo, and use software to best interpret how to make that sound in 3D space. I have basic setting in the video, but next week I'm going to do an in-depth audio analysis of Warzone footsteps in Caldera and in the gulag, and give step by step instructions on how to see what exact audio frequencies should be boosted.

i also have it plugged in to my pc and the headsets dont come up its only razer usb sound card. and i cant select the enviornmental either

I'll see if I can put something together. I tried Synapse a couple years ago, and it caused my game to crash. I'll see if I can get it working

@@jasona5775 thanks a lot man i have some time to return them if i cant figure it out so id appreciate it if u could get the footstep settings for the wired v2 blackshark i cant find it anywhere online and i have the thx audio working its just i cant even choose my headphones as an option. there plugged into my pc but on razer usb sound card comes up not the headphones. i tried adding them w/ the serial number and purchase date but it didnt work

@@bkid1776 Are you using that USB to 3.5 mm jack that can come with them? I think I had something like that back in the day. If so the sound card *might* actually be the headphones, but your computer sees it as a sound card as it is the razer usb sound card option.

Hello Alan! Thanks for watching the video. I'm not a headphone expert, but I don't believe any headsets are actually 7.1, normally it is just simulated. To answer your question you do not need an special headphones to get THX to work. Although I do recommend checking out my video on SteelSeries sonar, which I found to be much better, has a better set of features, and is free. Luckily you do not, the THX software works with all headsets, both 3.5mm and USB

That is a strange one! Have you attempted to uninstall and redownload? Another thing I have seen happen is that it is actually running twice and must be stopped in task manager. let me know if it gets straightened out :)

Hello Martin, I did change settings a little later after making another video about specific sound frequencies. I never released the video (wasn't up to standards) but what I found was the 200, 400 and 800hz ranges where were most settings fell. I do have a new video coming out soon where I cover this info and a different free program to use.

Have you attempted to adjust your mic threshold and chat volume? A lot of time it can be your mic picking up the sounds from the headphones. I would try to turning down chat volume in the settings as well as your mic threshold and see if that works. If not let me know and we can do from there.
