From years of trial and error experience I have come up with heating system that use 3 types of solar heat for 5 months of the year swimming in comfort. I also go over 6 tips to make this type of system work for you.
Wow I didn’t realize hommade solar heating was an easy DIY project! Unfortunately, I don’t have a pool so I can’t use it…but I suddenly feel the itch to make friends with a pool owner who needs some hahaha! I’m looking forward to your tutorial video on making them at home!
Yeah this is right up your ally with saving money and saving the planet! It all starts with the solar cover which collects heat saves heat and saves water! Thanks,
Good thing about them is they only run when the sun is shining. I run mine on the regular pump on a timer so if it’s cloudy I have to remember to turn it off. Thanks,
@@sculptureforasmallplanet Yes that's right, it's hard to get a really powerful solar pump. Mine runs at a of 3000 litres per hour. Good thing is if it's slightly overcast the pump slows down so it gives a fairly constant temp. I stuck two of those cheap Intex Matt's in a frame behind 4 mm perspex and it really works well.
@@sculptureforasmallplanet Temperature was cool here today with not much sun about 17degrees C. I put a temperature gauge into the box and it was 38 degrees. Unfortunately not enough sun to get water running so don't know actual output temp.
hello, yes. This is the tube and it is adjustable in length, (the pieces slide together) a.co/d/dVDHMY7 This is the rollers and the handle cranks, a.co/d/j2wBrFE And this is not exactly the cover I have but pretty close. I got my cover at a local Discount store. a.co/d/aPgrF0m Hope this helps!
Hello, I run my solar panels off of the main circulation system, so it goes out the main vacuum lines, through the filter, and then if it’s sunny through solar panels. Hope this helps. Thanks,
