I appreciate your video! My hair is cut exactly like yours. When I tried my extensions, it showed all the layers and the neck hair, so I became frustrated. I thought I'd never wear the extensions. I hate my short hair, so going to try out this trick and get happy with wearing extensions.
I hope it works out for you! It may be a good idea to get a second pack of extensions if your hair is short and the ends are more blunt. I’d have to use about a pack and a half at times.
Thanks for the tip! I've watched tons of videos and have been wearing extensions for a few years but this is one of the best ways to hide the short hair! I like long hair my husband likes short. This maybe my compromise lol

Wow, this really worked! I was a bit skeptical at first because my hair is much thicker than yours and a bit longer as well but it worked! What I did with the rest of my real hair was that I put it up in a bun and it looked really natural :-D!

***** Finally received my extensions and I put them in today and I tried your technique and it worked! I'm so happy and my hair blends in... love it :)
You can also braid the front to help hide the short hairs! Or add the clips in the back and pull the front of your hair up into a bun on top of your head. So cute!
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for!!! Because you put the weft below the twist, could you pull it up in an updo of some sort without it showing the clips? I've been wondering how people do updos with extensions and short hair or if they only do them if they have longer hair to begin with?
This was so helpful! I like to take my little single clipped extensions and pin them infront of my ear behind my ear and at the nape of my neck in an attempt to blend the hair together but this is so much better! Definitely trying this out tomorrow morning!

I'm thinking about getting bombay extensions but some people have complained they tangle so bad I was wondering if you have experienced anything like that ? They look so nice but I don't want to invest in something expensive that will tangle badly .

i got the vpfashion mixdye extensions and they are AWFUL they tangle extremely easy and are hard to blend because of the heat limitations.not to mention i got my reccomended density from a friend who has some nice extensions and so i got the same, they are nothing alike and im honestly so disappointed
thanks for great tips, my hair length is similar to yours. i got 18inch clip ins, it says 7 clip in wefts. One 10”, One 8”, One 6”, and Four 3” pieces , total 140g/m2, do you think it will be enough? i have no idea am new to this so i need some help! thank you!
Idk how you do it because the clips still show through my hair. But I have to the top of my shoulder hair and it’s very thin. I also have a lot of new growth .
