@@teslahome3224 First, let me say I know you didn’t do it. After reading my comment against it would seem that it could’ve been seen like that. The reasoning, is because it’s, IMO, unprofessional. Unsafe, especially if it’s in an area where high amperage loads are constantly used. Like an In window AC unit. As there’s only a tiny part actually touching the wire. This can cause overheating and cooling. “Hot cold, hot cold, hot cold...” repeat that enough times and and spring can worsen and even break. Thus you’ll lose electricity in just that outlet, if an end, or from that outlet point onwards. I have worked with electricians who would either use both sets screws, one for coming in and the other for leaving. Or use only one sent of screws and do a pig tail with the in coming and out going wires. (Best as if there could be a problem with one outlet, the rest behind it won’t get affected.)

I don't think anyone cares what "sends chills down your spine". You know why? Because most people are smart enough to do their research or call an elctrician.
Additionally, if doing an extension it is best practice to use the same grade of wire, especially if you are on a 20amp circuit. I couldn't really tell if existing was 14-2 in the video as it did look thinner, which would be fine on a 15amp breaker, dangerous on a 20amp breaker. Especially if putting a 12-2 extension on a 14-2 existing. Tv wouldn't pull that much, but a mounted PSU could overload it if additional devices were plugged in.
I love the idea but you would need to install some sort of pass through at the bottom for HDMI or other cables. Otherwise the passthrough at the top was completely pointless.
That's a great idea actually, not sure why I didn't think of it! I've got a TV in my bedroom with a cord just going down the wall. I did recently put an ethernet outlet on opposite sides of the same interior wall so I could get a wired connection to a server PC that I don't keep in the office
Video is great but I m trying to find a video like this where the wall is not this fake plasterboard that you can literally cut with a knife. Seems all houses in the states are like this. how do you do this on a proper brick wall?

Another way is to put a 1 inch hole behind the TV, another near the outlet, cover with a plate. Then just send the TV power cable down and plug into the existing outlet. No electrical needed.
