The comment section just makes me cry about my reverted-to religion: *Ask a Lebanese what a „proper“ hijab looks like: tight cloth, hair and neck covered Ask an Afghani: loose and full body cover, face and eyes covered, feet covered Ask an Iranian: loose cloth, parts of hair covered, roots visible, feet uncovered Ask a Saudi: loose and full body cover, sometimes hands and face covered but eyes Ask a Turkish: tight and „roofy“ as side covers, ankle my be uncovered Ask westerns: no hair cover, but of modest clothing *all above are examples and do not limit options of hijabs in the mentioned countries Please understand that what a „proper“ hijab is, depends on the way YOU learned it and how YOUR culture is treating that topic. And also please stop oppressing YOUR understanding of a hijab to other people and be aware of your own path. A hijab in the first place is an intrinsic motivation of not showing off your body, protecting it from male thoughts. All the rest, is everyone’s business themself. Our prophet said to his daughter Fatima, that SHE is all herself responsible for her path and no one else.
@@melqzce What you/your community defines as awrah differs from how another person or community defines it. And an Hadith can never be treated like the Qour’an. Former includes possibility of incorrect transfer and therefore definition.
@@HeidiAusDenBergen- actually no. every muslim knows the awrah, both muslim boys and girls. If you think we’re that uneducated, i suggest rethinking ur life xx
Allah’s word is not one to play with and to be followed according to everyone’s liking or “culture” like you said. Allahs word is one, if we divide ourselves on the smallest matter such as hijab then everyone will be following their own version of Islam and we’ll all look different like the westerners. We are not westerners we are Muslim. In the Quran there is characteristics to hijab in Surat Al-Nisa’ that we all should be following not just following what we like and not following what we don’t like. Hijab is hijab not a fashion piece.
I have a special affinity in my heart for Christian women who cover. I was born and raised Christian, and I covered too when I was Christian. There are a good number of Christian and Jewish women who cover inside and outside of the church/temple as well- you might find their stories interesting! They’re on RU-vid, TikTok, etc. may God reward you for your modesty (:
Cool, for many girls who are like me, we love hijab like this because we can work without having to worry about going without a veil. You are great at criticizing but terrible at helping. Close your mouth if There's nothing useful to say.
If people differ with how they choose to wear hijab it's their choice, religion can't be forced. Let's have more love for each other. Hijab can be a massive struggle for one, and easy for another. We're all on our journey. I think it's a huge thing nowadays for women to wear loose style clothing with any type of hijab ❤
hey just a rminder that hijab isnt just a thing to cover you hair..it suppose to cover our neck to the chess too (alongside qith the hair too)! i myself am not perfect but together can make a change❤️
Every Muslim female is at a different stage in wearing hijab. I know many people it’s easy to make comments online about proper hijab but every female is on a different journey with hijab and Iman so you can’t know her struggles. At least she trying to cover somewhat.
@@sarahdes2062 exactly but its not entirely their fault bc they grew up in the western countries..where the education of islam is not as clear as it is in muslims country :(
It is but sometimes it’s hard for some to do this especially for me as revert I’ve just started turban styles for now maybe one day Inshallah I will cover the neck and rest
Everyone is on their own personal journey, Allah doesn't just look what's on the outside, he only views and judges the heart. If I would wear a hijab, I'd wear it just like that, because in my view, Hijabis wear their headscarf to not only show modesty, but also make themselves beautiful for Allah
@melcarrim5215 Same sis, I totally agree. It's very hard to jump quickly from one thing to full covering. Some sisters find it easier than others, doesn't make someone less Muslim. Intentions and behaviour matter so much as well as covering ❤
@@Maryammadu same goes for you. Mind your own business. This person has a point. Why show off a cloth on your hair when you can’t even hide your hair and neck properly. This is stupidity and superstition. If you wanna follow the religion follow it believe it, doing this is illogical and fake feminism
@@Ammar-fc9ziwell nibba you need to be more kind since more people are now converting to islam if you cant say something nice, don’t say anything at all there’s a difference between suggesting something and being a d!!k
That is not how Allah wanted us to wear the hijab that is not even a hijab it looks like an accessorie which it shouldn't your hair and neck is showing
yall see that as trying? are we looking at the same thing? and she is old enough to know to cover her hair and neck i have a friend in 7th grade and her hijab is so much better i dont see what she is doing pretty. at all actually she is styling it like a hair accessorie its supposed to cover everything thats somthing allah told as and if your not following the rules your basically not doing anything.
@@Lilak239 I can't say ma sha Allah to it sister I'm sorry cause know the purpose of hijab. Hijab means cover/barrier/conceal. The minute a woman puts on makeup, beautifies herself, wears clothing that shows the outline of the body, then the conditions of hijab are broken. Hijab is a command from Allah ﷻ. There's no need to upload pictures or make videos
So you pray like that? Not cover your hair? What you must cover when u performing salah is your awrah. Your hair, neck, feet everything except palm and face.
I really appreciate that you are trying to wear hijab And now as you have started using it, please do it properly. Try to cover your all hairs and chest. And in case of chest you can use aprons (if you are not comfortable to do it with hijab) Love you❤
I have this question and i really want a reply from you for that.. I do the same hijab as you do.. The problem that occurs that it slips from the ear side.. I have to fix it up whenever i turn head or whatsoever.. Does the same thing occur to you? If not then what you do? Maybe i am missing out on smth.. Looking forward to your instant reply.. Will be eternally grateful. TIA
Mine slips too sometimes but it really depends on the length and material of your undercap and scarf. Cass1256 is also right to say to use a pin to hold the scarf together. I may do a video on this if it helps :)
A lot of people consider this unislamic, But to me hijab is no about modesty,it is more about creating an islamic identity, that is what I understand by the verses (33,59). And this style too is doing the job.
I suggest you to read further about how a women needs to dress in Islam. Islam is not about opinions it’s about obeying Allah. Hijab needs to cover the neck and the chest and it can’t be wrapped around the hair like a camels hump
Bro at least she is trying. That’s the same thing as saying if you don’t read all 5 namaz read none. Who are u to judge. That’s a matter between her and god not you
