I think he is under the impression that most of his viewers know how to air dribble from the wall already, and the setup (at least to me) is very similar.

The thing that I learned that I didn’t learn from tutorials is the fact that you have to boost up the wall to get to the ball faster and be able to reach the ball when it’s at its peak. This is essential to getting “with the ball”, being able to hide behind the ball and strike when necessary.

Just have the ball rolling slow enough that it would roll back down the wall before it got halfway up. While it's still travelling upwards, hit the ball while not going supersonic. This prevents that ceiling bounce that will RIP your ceiling shot attempt. When you're 80%ish up the wall, jump and angle your car to land on the ceiling. If you're travelling fast enough, you should only keep traction for about half a second or so before falling back off of the ceiling. Pull your stick down to angle your nose up, you want to give some boost right after you start falling to try to match the speed the ball is falling at, but to be falling a bit faster. Right after you "overtake the ball", meaning you're closer to the ground than the ball is slightly, use your flip to hit the ball. Remember that dodging makes it so you're no longer falling, so you want the ball to be above you so when you flip and it's still falling, you make contact. Another good way is to hit the ball at an angle onto the backboard, go onto the ceiling and float down for the double touch. Hope this helps.

Low ranked players are the most naive players man. Will compliment anything u do, even a basic shot. Someday, they will all learn toxicity of the higher ranks.

@@gihnzo Its scope makes it hard to describe. Best I can say is that the author drops you in the middle of a vibrant, living world with vast histories and conflicts already in place and then turns you loose. He dosen't hold your hand and spoon feed you the story but rather shows it through the flawed lenses of his large cast of characters. My first trip through the books left me bewildered, broken, and wanting more. Each subsequent reread has revealed more of the layered stories. I read quite a bit of fantasy, and enjoy the genre a lot, but nothing comes close to Erikson for me.

I haven't tried it yet but I'm pretty much the same rank as you so it's going to be fun to try and match my progress against someone of similar skill to me XD

What rank are you and all you have to do is not waste your boost at the start and learn how to control the amount of boost your using

Also try to double jump and during the second jump start boosting almost like how you do drop shot kickoffs

For a general explanation, if you can get a pad (center and diagonal kickoffs), boosting all the way through is an option, if you can't get a pad (offset center kickoffs), drive a bit then fast aerial to the ball. If hitting the ball in the center is your problem, it's gonna take practice, no getting around that. Depending on your goals (such as winning the kickoff, blocking the opponent's, losing the kickoff to a certain spot), you will have to adjust where you place your car (including boosting less/more, air rolling a certain way, etc). That's for after you understand basic kickoffs though. I would also abstain from doing fusion or friendship kickoffs until you can do normal ones. For those, go to the ranked hoops discord and there's a training video in there. Actually, any questions you have, that discord is a great place to ask. Also, generally, the person who is closer to the center goes for the kickoff (if one person is offset center and the other is diagonal, the person who is offset center goes)... *generally*. Again, depending on goals, there are always exceptions

The main thing I see people doing that hurts their kickoff from diaganol and center kickoffs is letting go of boost momentarily when you do your double jump, I recently noticed this in my play and it is a lot faster once you get used to it. I'm still going way over the ball sometimes, takes some practice :P

I think he means the ones where your teammate bumps you so you get to the ball quicker, there's been many new variations including both players on the team rather than the normal boost jump boost

Ya I think that's a really big tip that he missed. It makes you drop of the ceiling way faster, like a bounce off the ceiling.

Depends jumping allows to air drag the ball just after so u ca, do unpredictable stuff but not jumping allows to do double touches with backboard thats also a question of skill wall to ceilling arent for noob

Yeah, I was looking >.< why is he not jumping. U need to jump to be able to catch the ball as you are way faster 90% of the time.

Watch the ball when youre goijg to hit it otherwise look everywhere until you know where everyone is and watch the ball and the way people are going to hit the ball
