I’m not exaggerating: I gained 10 yards after listening to this on the way to the range. It really loosened me up mentally and with a freer swing my drives and even my iron distances shot up!
Was particularly keen to hear that you are suggesting a move off the ball on the backswing. That’s not something I remember hearing before. Have been struggling with my driving recently and will give this a try. Thanks
Hi Sophie, i followed your advice before i played in a competition today. It was a new course so not played it before. I shot 40 points, came 2nd, got a nearest the pin and won £55.00 so all in all a very good day out - thank you !! Nick
Wow! Good to meet you Sophie. I am an oldie and you have just reinstated a great deal of what I learned when I first started golf - I will endeavour to utilise your lessons and hopefully play more consistent golf with more confidence. Gwen M
Good to know I can continue to watch your excellent advice. Your decision to change was most ethical and understandable though all your followers will miss you excellent objective reviews.
Good to see you back Sophie. Your explanations and demonstrations all make good sense to me. Just hoping I can put them into practice effectively. 25 years out of the game the old 'muscle memory' is gone and I'm having to re-learn everything.
I always thought the space between the knees on the back swing should remain very much the same I.e the left knee should not move too much towards the right knee.
