I got a question on the clutch plate with three ball bearings and spring for adjuster i broke the shift arm that moved the shift plate got it all out without taking motor out but now lining that spring triangle piece to cover adjuster is the question i got it together shifts got it back into neutral an into 1st back to neutral seems tight no noise but have started it yet waiting on oil just wondering would it still shift with that part not being alined right i put alittle grease just to hold the little spring for the piece wouldn't fall as it did once before adding alittle grease to hold it an anwsers would be great thank you

That's what the tool is used for surely wouldn't want you working on my shit you can be causing damage to the crankshaft and other thing and you surely don't use a hammer to bang apart the case on those little tabs you take a flat head screwdriver and that's called where you can pry it with a screwdriver
