You can do the same with the build in stabilisation in FCPX and select inertiacam option (not auto) btw don't buy the buggy PFS Plugins its wasted money tho.. customer support also awful af in my opinion.. anyway good video Ryan

Agreed about PFS. I spent $100s with them and after a FCPX update they don't work anymore, customer support has been less than helpful in solving the issue. MotionVFX ftw

With photos you can chose the time in between each frame to create more of a Timelapse effect

Another awesome video Ryan! I got the plugin to stabilise it. I tried it on some vertical footage. Once it is stabilised it has a mirroring effect on the footage as if there is mirrors on the edges of the footage. Any ideas how to prevent this? Cheers

You can move the video and zoom in to remove the mirror image. This is why it’s important to try and get the most stable shot to start with to reduce the cropping amount

Thanks for the tutorial. I was hoping you'd teach how to do this in Motion. I hate Pixel Films Studio. Their plugins are buggy, slow, and their customer support is terrible. If you buy a plugin that doesn't work and want to return it, more than 2 times, they'll ban you from buying from them again. And, while RSMB is currently the best motion blur plugin, it's also terribly slow... completely freezing FCPX on my fully specced out 2020 iMac.

Intertiacam stabilization is so much better than the PFS stabilizer. My track editor wasnt even moving around that much and I hit export and it was shakier than ever. I even tried playing with different small settings.

If your using 4k video then make sure you use the 4k effect and a 4k project. It shouldn’t lower resolution once you have exported
