People need to watch this and fix how they breed their dogs. Can't make the breed better if you don't know/care about your about the flaws that your dog have.
+Birmingham Man Rixstaa First off bro recognize that you're speaking opinion. Furthermore, not one of your opinions is fact. This video was produced by me for Bully Bad Ass TV. I am a filmmaker not a dog breeder. I own one dog he's a rescue. This video was produced as an educational piece not a sales pitch. Secondly the American Bully is a breed recognized by several registries including the UKC and ABKC. This dog is bred for a lot of things, Eric the gentleman talking in the video competes in Irondog Competitions with his bullies. If you're life's purpose is about negativity, please steer clear of this channel. I'm trying to make a difference and have no time for hatred and ignorance.
***** Dude you must be joking? I can't believe you're on my channel throwing shade. I got to you G+ page and see you trying to pass off an obvious APBT/Mix as a pure dog. It's guys like you who swear they know it all that need the most education. I suggest you post a pic of Eli on any Pit Bull forum and ask them what kind of dog you have.
It’s crazy that my American bully I bought from a backyard breeder and she was pretty cheap and the runt and she has no flaws she is definitely show quality
jack riff No Sir I mean like Bullies have some serious flaws. This is a new breed and people are experimenting. So obviously some pups will have flaws and plain out deformities. I want to see a perfect or near perfect Bully Breed but at the moment it is not and that's the reason for my first comment.
Jason Jones like every dog breed. JuanCamaney1982 rip King Kamali, Nemesis, Master Shifu, Tifon, Huckleberry all great dogs with very little flaws and that is because there is is no such thing as a flawless dog in any breed. you really have to do your history before you make false statements.
jack riff Not true. A real breeder won't breed for defects. There are a ton of Bully breeders out here just breeding bullshit dogs. They'll produce a dog with a flaw thta they think will make it unique. Then they start to breed for that flaw then sell that garbage to people who don't know any better.
He's saying performance and functionality. The bullies usually have no functionality or performance qualities. If you want a performance breed, this ain't it.
+Dena Lyfe check my channel I show my bully boi....but he gone now rip6/17/2015 was only 20months....I put up dude...but to get a bully for1150 end of February UKC regs....foh
+Nonchalant Gamer fucking heatstroke man...broke my heart ..had record heat in fla middle of the summer lastyear he was in the shade but still died...lungs collapse
What about eyes ? Sometimes my dog appears to have a lazy eye but when something he looks at moves, it straightens up. It's my first bully. Not sure if that's normal or not for the breed.
GREAT and NEEDED VIDEO! 15 years ago when I bought my first bully, MOST breeders would breed dogs with some major flaw. East West, High Rears, Underbite etc. these were all things no one seemed to care about. All the more reason you must do your research on the breeder BEFORE you buy.
Just bought a American bully puppy for over 7k..that flys out next week. They just emailed me and said he has a slight over bite. He's still a puppy. Do they ever fix it themselves as they age? Should I ask for a discount off the total price? Thanks
I see this was a month ago so I'm sure it's too late now but for anyone else who may see this and wonder..no it will not correct itself. You got torched unless you're messing with exotics. Hell about anything goes with them
This video needs to be widely shared throughout the bully pages. We bought a male with great pedigree but somewhere in the line he got no angulation in his back legs, his rear is high, and his tail usually curls upwards. He isnt show quality thats why we are getting him fixed after 2 years (refuse to breed him even with his nice ped). He has flaws. but he is the best dog I've ever had. Our female is breedable and showable so thats what we are doing! - side note, it would be beautiful if ABKC came to Canada.
Cassandra T good on you Casandra the bullie world needs more like you. Remember the dog makes the peds the peds don't make the dog. Some dogs no matter how nice the papers should be just enjoyed as pets. Well done to you for not contributing to the issue enjoy him as the mate he is 👌
Under shot or over shot comes from inbreeding. Inbreeding is a necessity in breeding game dogs, preferably father to daughter. Breeding brother and sister usually leads to some catastrophe.
Thats why i say these dogs are not a real bred some have alot of olde bulldog others have french bulldog, boston terrier etc no consistency in bred nobody breeds to standard which was suppose to be abpt/staff cross 4 different classes all mixed with different dogs but all called am bully smh
I agree only a dumbass comes on here saying to shut up because he breeds out of standard....the bulldog mixes and other breeds thrown into these dogs screwed them up
I'm two years too late but you should do both I assume. And the first pick of the litter be prepared to pay thousands of dollars. It be a miracle to get a cheap show pup but miracles do happen everyday.
I am so tired of seeing a certain few fbf post their bully puppies and say how they're gonna be a bad ass bully but whole time the poor pups shoulders are broader than a linebacker, underbite so bad that the mouth doesn't even close right. Some of their toes sit on top the other ones. And it's just sickening. Makes my heart hurt. Greed is ruining this beautiful breed of dog
I just hope to any breeder if you do have a puppy that has flaws dont kill him or her take care of them still that's your mess you should deal with the after effects....
Some faults are caused by bad weight management especially during the growing months and years. Too heavy and the front end can get flat feet, weak pasterns, easty-westy and even bow legged
@@DeepakRana-tp5gl you probably know something I don't. I was going to direct her to AKC but I've heard a few bad experience. I think maybe she should try to make friends with show people...it may help to know some dog persons who won't be jealous or kill her enthusiasm. At some point she will get clear feedback positive or no. I wish you much success op in the show ring
Bully’s are made up of several different types of Bully breeds so i would think it impossible to find any perfect dog without some type of defect. That’s a impossible standard to measure them up against that’s why they ABKC was formed just for Bully breeds. Hate these ppl that get caught up on all these BS technicalities. If your lucky enough to own one just love and appreciate the dog. Also one of the biggest reasons for defects in the breed is over breeding.
I agree fully all these so called flaws i understand if they are extreme or health concerns but those standards are stupid theres alot of human models with messed up feet to lol and maybe hump backs lol..i mean if those flaws a minute i think they should get a pass fr
Mine has this shake to him , a lot when he gets excited. He was acting like he had the old man shakes with his big ol head 20min ago. Seems to be normal now after I fed him some snacks
Amazing video I have couple questions. I have issue with my bully, he is 4 years old now and he won't sit on his back legs just on his side or his ass. And he won't jump, it looks like his back legs are very straight I think he has bad hips. Any suggestions how to help him without surgery? I am switting him to a raw diet now because I think he has yeast infection because his feet and skin stings so bad that even bath won't help. I know I am asking too much but you guys know these dogs inside out and nobody else will know better. Because you guys are Bad Ass. LOL Is it normal for my dog not barking? Thanks guys for your videos, it's amazing what you doing. Keep going !
American Bullies are very relaxed so barking is very minimal. It's not like pitbulls and am staffs where they're constantly running at a hundred miles an hour. But unlike pitbulls and am staffs hip dysplasia is an all too common problem with the breed. Vitamin supplements can help, but they're only so effective. If you can afford to, surgery can work wonders. If not, it's your decision if your dog is in too much pain to keep living.
+Ron Hotchkiss coolest dog i was around was a pitbull but i think he was mixed cause he weighed around 90lbs. i have a Tibetan Mastiff puppy. well he is 6 months and weight 75lbs
Stifle is pronounced "st-EYE-full". The reason why I can't respect bully people is because they get just enough info to create garbage, then walk around like they know what the fuck is going on!!! NO YOU DON'T! SO SIT DOWN!!!
+Diesel Dogs I'm glad you and bbtv made this video there are not many videos out like this one and I think people would know what there dogs are lacking if more people were educated from videos like this. GOOD WORK
Be aware of casino bully’s it’s a scam paid for meril xl bully day my pup was supposed to be delivered threw a courier from airport wanted another. 1400 for insurance befor releasing to me never received puppy more money back lesson learned
My bully came from AKBC parents but his tail is like a bulldog tail it’s a corkscrew tail is that keep him from showing ? It’s cute I love it but if he can’t show it’s not the end of the world.
I just got a bully 2 months old and he does have slight upper over bite .... is it something I should be concern ?. Or what does it mean ?. Everything is fine it's just that over bite
My dog has the easty westy stand and also the short upper arm flaws, any tips or anything I could do or at least some info why my dog like that lol I love him tho he me Patna in crime
My dog has an underbite from having half French bulldog mixed into him, his paws turn out as well nothing major tho, and my dog has a kinked tail, but he’s healthy he can jump run miles and is a totally functional dog compared to what these ppl call “flawless bullys”
What about overbites i bought a female puppy about 4 months. i was told she was good with no flaws but i see she has an overbite. Will an overbite correct it self as the puppy grows or am i screwed and out of some dollars for buying this dog?
Rick R because too many people are breeding for looks and not functionality. Loads of BYBs that want something that is eye catching. To most people it's eye catching in the bad way.
hey guys I'm trying to remember the name of the blue american bully with the sway back deformed front legs and the turned feet. i know he was bred twice it was discussed years ago and i wanted to talk to someone about it
American Pitbull: great dog. American Bully: also great looking dog. Both of them are very healthy and strong, especially the bully. But these exotics are so spoilt... Poor dogs. Breeding them like that Heinous act, like dogfighting.
@@jasonjones502 all that inbreeding gotta stop though. That's just basic science. In extreme cases to save a breed or bloodlines from extinction...I understand.
A bro can you help me out please i got a 6 month yr old bluenose girl And she has black spots on her ches. They warent like this the last time i checked. What can i do should i take her to the vet. Some poeple said it could be a yeast infection please help me please. thank you
That is not a flaw it is called a deformity because you're doing some inbreeding to get these dogs and the breed is suffering because you're doing that no matter if it shows or not.
I recently bought an American bully tri color, he was 7 weeks old when I got him and I notice he had a gay tail. After the 8th week he didn't have the gay tail anymore it was more straight and higher what does this mean ? He has beautiful green eyes, huge paws, muscle you can see it through all that fat lol, and a big chest.
Jessyka Arriaga same here. I have a male that just turned a year..it's not curved all the time. only when he's alerted, I think it's just some messed up genetics
Absolutely, it's a sad morph of jaw structure. Bone structure affect healthy function. Admittedly that's all I know. But I'm thinking you want a pet that has decent bone formation to do the job it was bred to do.
