I have many and we make sweet pickles it’s been used since I acquired it and we can other things in other crocks they were handed down and I have been attached to having them all my life anything else like butter molds crockery bowls for use I’m just very proud of having and collecting them to use. Thanks for showing them!

I need to go through all my crocks now 🤣🤣🤣 I just bought a really gorgeous ovoid piece last year at an auction...plus I have several other crocks I got from my in-laws...I have a 20 gallon crock I use as my kitchen garbage but I don’t think there is a lot of value to that one. They make great decorative trash cans in the kitchen though 🤣🤣

You should look through everything and also don't disregard the crock use for your garbage can :) Are you sure there is no value to it?

Dr. Lori No, I am not sure of anything at this point after watching your videos 🤣🤣🤣...but there are no markings on the 20 Gallon crock other than the number 20 in blue...my other crocks have blue designs on them...

Dr. Lori I may have to do two submissions...one for my avoid crock and one for the unusual chair I have. Someone told me the chair is a shaker knockoff and told me to look for a patent date of 1878 on it. So I did and it has one on the backside of one slat that’s says “PATD May 14 ‘78”....I’ll submit it and have you look at it. It’s a very unusual chair and in amazing shape. It has black and wood color slats on the back and seat....I won’t be able to submit it until I get my next SS check in 2 weeks but I am definitely going to submit it for you to look at. I’ve never seen one like this. I’m sure it’s a knock off and prob not worth much but I’m sure it’s worth more than we paid for it LOL
