This didn't work unfortunately and it makes no sense. I have a 77BPM project, my buddy recorded the stems I sent him at default 120. I import and of course his 120 recorded vocals sound slow, no matter what I do and doing what you showed here.

I see you never got an answer. I have a similar problem. I checked the file(s) before opening Media Explorer to verify the BPM, which in my case they play at 115. I set the Reaper BPM to the same (115) then open Media Explorer and enable Auto Play. When playing it via Media Explorer it is faster, about 130BPM. I import into Reaper as a track and it's still at 130.

I have the same problem. A buddy sent a guitar and vocal file and both are recorded at 102. I imported into reaper and I set the tempo at 102 and it plays slower. I manually matched it, 118 in Reaper…..what gives? Imported tracks are from Cubase DAW.@@bcain5823
