In Apex Legends the true way to learn to improve your game sense is why getting eliminated and losing OVER...and OVER...and OVER again. But when you lose, you need to understand what happened so you can fix it.
Problem why most individuals don't improve their game sense is in scenarios they get frustrated, but don't look at the key learnings of each encounter. Look at the situation from an outside lens and fix what you can. There will be situations out of your control...but look at the lead up to what occurred.
When a person understands, they don't get frustrated or mad. When someone lacks knowledge, their first reaction is anger.

When you lose in Apex Legends, these are learning opportunities. It takes a mindset shift to take each encounter as a moment to learn. We create today simple breakdown to put into categories how you are losing and identify what went wrong. Now there is some scenarios that are just unavoidable such as a cheater or something...but you will get less frustrated at the game as a whole when you are constantly learning rather than feeling stuck unsure what to fix.

I think to improve you can use r5 mod 1v1 to get better on your mechanics and aim. And in-game take as many fights as you can even in disadvantage so you can be prepared in the worst scenario.

I've gotten to the point where I can start to tell what weapon the enemy has based on the audio. Next step will be to count their bullets like you suggest and use that to my advantage

I mean movement is also mechanics. Mechanics is execution. Your ability to successfully perform actions. The accuracy of your inputs. Etc. Failing a superglide is a mechanics failure. Missing your flicks is a mechanics failure. Even looting slow is a mechanics failure. Sorry to be a definition nerd.

This is a test question. If you have the mechanics based on the VOD, and you secured a knock. Based on when to push video. Does this fall under that rule?

I guess that would depend if the player has team support and can make it there in a timely manner, correct? If it's a bang loba and bloodhound they may not be able to make it in time to capitalize. But if it's a horizon, bang and pathfinder, they could potentially capitalize. Also depends if they van make the push without getting caught out in the open.

@@Chevy67cheliospretty much remember that basis and keep it simple: Did you do significant damage or knock. If so you can push and close space. Depending on teammates near you and time to secure is all it is.

Wait isn't Apex dead? The game is unplayable in diamond or higher. Cheaters are so unbelievably rampant right now, probably the worst it's ever since the beginning of the game. I'm surprised people are actually still doing content for this game lol

Game is still doing fine, definitely has its issues. Need those issues resolved so games can thrive. Same issue as the finals in ranked when running into cheaters.

@@Dazs definitely not even close to the same issues. I run into cheaters almost every single ranked games in Apex lately so I said screw it the other day and downloaded The Finals. Haven't seen any cheating in that game yet. Or at least it's nowhere near as prevalent.

@@mmayojr once higher up it does hit hard. Ranked for Apex even gold above has a lower player count. Why issue also is so bad. But in general cheating is a MAJOR problem.

Making sure not to give respawn a pass like this is a recent issue. Depending how they balance ranked and who you face will increase chances of cheating. This problem has consisted for quite some time at the same level if not worse depending on the time. Just want actual change.
