Who are you and where have you been!!! thank you for this video! And thank you nurses for sharing your experience because we all learn from each other and are in this together!🤗
@@KeepItRealRN yes...any advice on how to understand the full picture? What I mean is..in your video I know the patient report is made up but you were able to say the full picture...this is my trouble..piecing it all together..disease process..labs and diagnostic...etc...or will this come with experience?
Very realistic. WIsh I had that much time to give report from the ED. Working on an improvement project, and this helped me to visualize each individual step in SBAR. Thanks.
I wish nursing giving report were as patient as you. Most of the nurses I have encountered are in a hurry to go home and they forget to handover key information and rush quickly through the report.
I had to laugh about being quizzed. I do not mind being quizzed but asking "who the patient dated in middle school and what did the date rate his/her's first kiss"well it can get dramatic. :P
Can see a lot of overtime $$ coming to Nurses, for the extra time we’ll spend at work when we have 4-5 patients a shift to get handoff report for... 😐😳
