wait so how did he get that custom songs thing? i thought u had to connect it to ur pc and download songs from bmbf but he was able to download songs on the spot like its built in. Or is it bc hes on pcvr bc im on quest 2. Someone pls explain
@@bokki4240 quest 2 is different from pc, on pc the custom songs are built in the game, and there's a mod that allows you to download songs inside the game. on quest 2, you aren't meant to have custom songs and mods
A big thing that helped me and that I recommend is playing harder songs, what I mean is that if u are stuck on hard mode and can’t beat a song play the same song on expert. Don’t try to beat it, just get used to the speed of the song on expert. Then when you go back to hard mode it will seem like the song is slower. This worked for me and it may or may not work for you.
Do you think it would work better if you attempted the harder difficulty in "no fail" mode then went back to the original difficulty with no fail turned off
only 1129m? I keep getting over 3000m on songs. Wait a min, was I not supposed to be taking off every time? (for real though, i'm always getting sooo much travel)
I got the quest 2 for Christmas and after half a year of trying out moonrider on the oculus quest my cousin let me borrow, I was ready for expert. I might try expert+ soon
@@vfishyturtle7601 what do you mean by "ain't athletic", is it the typical guy who lost all of his stamina and strengh during the quarantine, or is it the one who go eat mc donald everyday and weigh more than my destiny ? because, easy map are like 1-2notes/s, only way to fail them is being unable to move your arms
"Always stretch your wrists, forearm and shoulders" Oh so that's why my hands are broken great tips (No seriously I never knew this and it scared me I never thought you can get injured from playing beatsaber)
@《 Default Girl 》 Yeah your brain makes you think that you're falling over literally. If you want to experiment with it, put a plank along the floor and then play a tightrope game in VR, it's actually kinda scary when you think you're gonna fall off lol
“If you feel pain, IMMEDIATELY stop playing and get some rest.” You know what they say, *R i p a n d t e a r u n t i l i t i s d o n e, t h e n p l a y a n o t h e r m a p*
One thing that is helping me is trying the difficulty above the one I’m doing. It helps a lot because when I go to my original difficulty I can do it much better
Awesome Video Bandoot! I've learned from watching your Twitch streams and can 100% agree that a thinner saber is much easier to manage and removing the debris is helpful as well! Thank you for the tips :)
I have over 350+ hours on beat saber, and one thing he forgot to mention is that you need to learn to swing with your wrists, not so much your arms. this helps massively in swinging faster and better. Just thought I should throw that out there :)
Sooooo I played reality check through the skull and broke my skull but I was lucky to live bcuz I also didint bring water and the medic said dont play beat saber again or you will die so me sad 😞
I'm very new to the game, and something that has helped me is trying different ways of holding my controllers. On faster songs, I actually end up either holding only the base of them or pressing down all of the triggers to have more control over moving them. It's nice that there's no button inputs ingame while doing a song so you can really just hold it however you feel most comfortable.
yes listen to bandoot and rest if you feel any pain REST IMMEDIATELY my rist hurt rn and im resting and plus its never bad to have a brake ;))))) stay safe people hope u the best
So I've been playing a song for a while now and I swear the practice thing doesn't work (at least for me) at all. I have using the practice for 5 months on the same song and still haven't been able to beat it. I slow down the song to like 70% and go to a part that I find difficult and when I get to like 90 or 100% I fail i keep trying and play the game for about 2 hours a day then take a break for about a day or 2 then come back and see if I was better, once I tried it I got worse, i was stuck on a part that was easy for me before and just keep trying and repeating the process and I do get better but than I guess worse on my next try. And there is no hate or blame or anything to bandoot.. this is just my experience with the practice thing.
i think that the difficulty your playing on is too high or the song is harder than others in its same difficulty. try a different song because playing a song you cant beat over and over again doesnt help you improve.
@@Dragonrage1oo1 yeah but, there is another guy that did a beat saber tips video and said "try a song you know you can't complete and try it over again until you complete it" and also I feel like the songs that were so easy to complete before I cant complete them anymore I just feel like I'm getting worse.
Bruh. Sometimes I need to go down to 50% and it’s still too fast lol. (For specific expert+ levels.) If it’s a new pattern, I usually go to 50% and then once I get it flawlessly, I got to 55%. Then 60%. Then 65%. All the way to 100% and then we good to go.
"if you feel pain, IMMEDIATELY stop playing and get some rest." Should've told me before I stretched and raised my arms a bit too much while playing ;-;
“If you feel pain, stop playing immediately and get some rest” Me: uhhh what? My arms: the day....has come FOR ME TO HELP HIM BEAT THIS LEVEL- The level: up down down down left right left right up down up up up upside down- followed by arm cross My arms: ah shit, here we go..
Ok listen, if you feel EXTREME pain you should stop, but sometimes when trying a new fast song it’ll hurt to go so fast and for so long. Just don’t go too hard
Bandoot pls read this: So when I downloaded epic from Tokyo machine in beat saber I played it on expert and ever since then I've been really bad at beatsaber even though I used to be really good. But then I watched this video applied reduce debris and I turned spawn flash off
Guys if you don't have a VR that runs on pc, don't buy the game n the oculus store, buy it on steam. It's just like playing beat saber but it's on pc and you have r your friends can watch you play on it. But only f you have a pc
I challenge you to do reality check through the skull with all of the colors WHITE edit:The reason why I said all the colors WHITE it makes it harder to see the arrows.
Hi bandoot I’m a big fan and been watching you for a long time and when I got my vr headset in the Christmas of 2020 I Immediately started beatsaber and started watching your videos more often
Can you make a small video telling the steps to get mods on the quest 2 please? I havent found it anywhere and you are the only person I have have noticed with mods that is really helpful too
Practice, thin sabers, and grip helped me a LOT, but following along to beat saber videos or streams, tripled my note reading! I went from barely being able to read breezer on expert, to being able to read final boss chan on expert plus! (Still doesn't mean I can acually hit all the blocks tho :P)
Bandoot: Bandoot, how do I get better at the game? How do I improve? How do I complete this specific level? Me: Bandoot, why do you have all of these anime pillows?
These are very good tips for beginners. The best thing that he didn’t mention, is just play the game. Don’t worry about score until you get a little better, and play the game for fun. You will improve with time and won’t get burnt out if your having fun.
I have an idea, what if someone coded it so the mouse was correspondent to the sabers in beat saber (just left and right) and when you clicked the it swung the sabers like osu but 3d and you had to click the mouse Ok i explained that terribly but comment if you want me to explain better but i think thatd be cool
One advice about the colors that is missing is: Chose colors that are distinguishable from each other, like complementary colors. That way you will be less confused at the beginning, because notes for the right saber will not stay on the right side and notes for the left saber will not stay on the left side.
What perfect timing! Not new to vr, but I just picked up beat saber on my index after a few months of having the index and was literally going through vids to try and find mods.
being sore usually means your muscles got a good workout from it. Its not a bad thing to be sore. Just make sure you let yourself recover a bit so the muscles can recover and they get stronger
