@Niseandryt that not quite how it works. For instances you can add modifiers to get more points, there's combos. The wider you hit notes, the more points you get. You can hit every note and still only get a b

Yeah I was the same when I started playing a bit over a year ago, I only played on normal and occasionally played hard and had no idea how people play at expert+ level of speed. Now I play all songs on expert by default and am slowly getting used to playing songs on expert+. I like to make my dad watch me play and he has no idea how I can make reactions fast enough to comprehend what’s going on. Just keep playing and you’ll naturally get better

Payday2 was the same way for me on death wish. Or tier 4 in Redout going for gold or platinum. After a while it be easier grid2 is like that for me, my track times are not improving as I'm at the limits of the cars I have ick out all I can, some where I get a bit more out after a break.
