stfxno the first mod was literally biomes o plenty, which adds 80 biomes and 12 sub-biomes, and there’s also better nether which adds somewhere between 3 to ~ 10 biomes.

Trees, animals and caves look and sound different. Yeah dude you really got it. It's completely different. It may look different but also not like a different game and guess what. Minecraft isn't a movie, you actually play it. And the progression hasn't changed at all.

They actually are. They pick the crops and store them in a community storage, and they have hunger levels too, so they have to eat the crops.

There are a few mods that would work great in this pack: * Primitive Mobs adds a handful of mobs that are deliberately styled like vanilla mobs. * Project Vibrant Journeys adds even more detail to the overworld, including new biomes, mobs, wood types, generated structures, and subtle foliage. * Better Survival adds new weapon types and enchantments with their own abilities that are faithful to vanilla.

Unfortunately, most of these mods pretty heavily go in the opposite direction of Minecraft's leading design principle, Minimalism. A nice modpack to be sure, but it would change the game by changing the underlying design principles.

I mean, asides bug buzzy bees, the updates haven’t really kept the game simple, have they? You can literally make your own village with the recent villager behaviors, and the ocean biomes seem very complex.

I would love to see a vanilla mod pack, something which doesnt add anything to the game but find unique uses for other things in the game, new structures would be fine but it would need to be able to be run on the server with out needing to install any of the mods client side.

Please, make a tutorial how to install it and all the other improves you make! Personally, I would like to play like this but I don't know how to install. It would be a good thing in your videos :)
