Playing a modded single player of primal chaos mod. I play on console so max level only goes up to 150. MOD creator states that the overhaul is balanced for creature level 600. Should I just adjust my tamed Dino stats such as HP melee per level and dmg etc so I have a chance? I have other mods such as the additions Dino’s such as deinosuchus and such that I would like them to be relevant and usable even amongst the modded Dino’s? Or should I just consider playing a different overhaul mod altogether?
Last month the mod creator announced that 150 is the most balanced level for creatures, so 600 is no longer necessary. So you should be fine playing it, although I don't know how Ark Additions will scale they will most likely become useless as you get to the more powerful creature tiers.
i'm having trouble finding 300s to spawn after i messed with the server settings (note: i merely was messing with Dino stats, so did I ruin the utilization of this method? Because I have yet to see anything past a 150 spawn since.. or am I just out of luck?) Edit: It was Ascended's fault for resetting all of my configuration on the server settings. For some odd reason it just secretly turned MAX difficulty on without my knowledge or consent. Same with a variety of other stats.. maybe it was a patch thing..? Keep your eyes pealed for Ark shenanigans, boyos..
Thanks bro. I already tried that (especially ark1 had exactly the same way to do this) but it didn't work, because of that "max lvl 150".... ech, in ASE I had that turned on and there wasn't such a problem...
Overrideofficialdiffculty does NOT alter the wild dino levels in ASA. I'm running a server and when I ran ASE servers this worked perfectly, in ASA it's not the correct command.

I set in the Game.ini: MaxDifficulty=False And then in the GUS.INI: DifficultyOffset=1 OverrideOfficialDifficulty=17 which in ASE would give max level 510 dinos. Nothing. I've tried variations on the offset and override numbers like I've seen posted online in various forums and videos and none of them work. My thinking is if you're running SP you can alter it. If you're running a Non-Dedication session which is basically turning your SP game into multiplayer, you can alter it. If you are running a dedicated server, it does not alter it but I can't confirm this is the case because it might simply be a setting that's missing

when i load my game and kill dinos they spawn back at normal levels and i go back and look and the new settings did not save? i set the override to 50 then when i load in and go back and look it is no longer set to 50
That's strange, im assuming you're saving it every time and not just closing the .ini file. I've never set it to 50, so that may be too high. Try setting it to 10. As I know, that should work.
Is it "-" or "="? DifficultyOffset-1 or DifficultyOffset=1 The INI file in your video looks like a dash "-" But, the Description shows it as an equal sign "="
Curious been working at it for a couple days i have my difficulty set to 10 but i have a mix of lvl 5 to 300 dinos still When in evovled when i had it set to 10 i do beleive they were about 100 maybe 150 all the way up to level 300 basiically im saying i dont want any dino under 100 on my server
I did everything, cleared all the dinos out with the destroyalldinos. and still. the highest level dino i saw was a 90 dilo. and the lowest still being lvl 5 trikes. i double checked the file and it still says its set right.
Have you unticked max difficulty in the world settings? What number did you set the command to? Also, double-check that you haven't added any extra spaces or a .
does this only work for single player. Me and my friend bought a server to play on and I wanted to know if I could add this in order to basically trip him up with levels higher than 150. I also wanted to know what the highest level is. If its by range of 30 could I essentially go for 30000 if I wanted to or is there a limit?
There will be a similar method for servers. However, I have never used Nitrado so I'm not 100% sure how to do it. Also I have never tested the limit but I assume it will be pretty high
You can change OverrideOfficialDifficulty on Nitrado Server Settings, I don't now about the max number, but this number changes the loot rarity too. I think a Balanced way to play is set to 6 (Max leveL: 180 and loot scaling: 600%) (Loot scaling changes the qualifty of loot drops). The max number I know is 10 (Max level: 300, Loot scaling: 1000%).
Is there a way to get all engrams back in Ascended? I am level 105 and I can't craft saddles because I can't get the engrams. I have not defeated the first guardian either. I have been playing for over 5 years as a single player locally. Please help.
So if I get it every 5 that I add to the overrideofficialdifficulty= is 150 more to max wild dino lvl 5 is max 150 10 is max 300 15 is max 450 .....................?
Does this work on the gamepass does anyone know? I think it did, hard to tell, i changed override to 50. . . . I found a lvl 180 wyvern but i don't know if that was from a mod or not, but i would imagine 50 would be insane lvls.
We console players are crying rn I mean 150 is very easy as soon as you get a raptor the game becomes too easy only giga and titano are problem anything else gets destroyed
@@Storminit I got them to save but now its just not affecting the game at all, like its not accepting the ini files and is only looking at the in game settings rather than the ini files very annoying that I cant get it to work.
