I had my first market in may and I sold over $1200. I was so excited I almost cried lol one thing that helped me was saying mini items. I had 8oz sprays but also 2oz sprays that sold for $5. I feel like most people feel obligated to purchase something once walking into booths so having a $5 item helped with sales!

My gift sets are my number one seller. I introduced mine Mother’s Day weekend 3 years ago. I sell them all year round. I also for a 5 for 30 on my soaps that sell great. I mention it once I see someone with at least 2 bars in their hands. 90% of the time they get the 5.

Great Video....I have a bundle for my soaps . I tell people that it is a show special and if they are with others, I say they can combine to get the show price.

Hi, Erica. I gave your video a thumbs-up, because your information is so useful, and because you are so down to earth - no arrogance! I wonder if you can tell me a little more about the gift box set. Is it basically your candle in a wrapped box ready to give someone? Do you put a ribbon on it? Or do you place your candle in a gift bag with tissue? Thank you for your time.

Thank you for this video! I do a farmers market every weekend and do a buy 3 get 1 free deal. I'm wondering if I should switch to a bundle deal. The customer still gets a deal but I don't lose the cost of an entire candle. You gave me some things to think about. Thanks!

I will be doing my 5th pop up this weekend. Thanks for the tips. Erica have you thought about adding a pop up location within Shopify so you don’t have to keep track of what you sell? I also do this and use the Shopify credit card machine and it links to your store.

Yes! I started offering buy more & save deals this year. I had to raise my prices this year, so at first it felt counterintuitive to offer a discount. However my margins are much better than last year, so it makes sense. I'd rather make a sale with a discount than make no sale. And I do the same, I pretty much only offer the deals to people that are committed to at least one product. 💖

The psychology of selling is so interesting! I’ve done some experiments with marketing the same product 2 different ways: option 1= buy 4 get one free. Option 2 = £2.50 each or 5 for £10. …… both were for the same products, same prices but just worded differently. Which one do you think was more successful? 🤨
