This man is brilliant when it comes to brisket and pork, chicken. When he speaks EF Hutton listens and you should too David Bouska is the King of Injection period. I did research. BBQSuperStars knows. Get results in your back yard.

Brisket is my favorite food. I used the prime injection for the first time. By far the best tasting flat I have ever had. Wish I would have experimented with this stuff 10 years ago when I first started smoking. I was scared it would have a chemical taste, but really just kept the flat perfectly moist and tender

seems like you inject before putting on the rub - when you inject if you marinate overnight or don't you recommend that? Thanks in advance.

You inject WITH the grain, not across it. If you inject across the grain you get discoloration when you slice it.

You don’t need to inject it if you know how to smoke it right.

Thank you for your comment. My thoughts and yours are exactly why they make salt and they make pepper. Two different spices that are liked. Just may be for each other.
