Thanks, Zen. Another epic tutorial. My drum rolls are pretty robotic, so these tips help a lot. One thing I wish you had covered was doing delay/reverb washes via stock plugins rather than the Endless Smile. No slam on Endless Smile, but these washes seem to be a standard element for a lot of genres. Is that something you'd be willing to cover? I have a question regarding 3:43, I've noticed that sometimes you also place endless smile on the master chain to affect the overall track. Is one endless smile enough, or are multiple washouts on different elements recommended?
I make a different genre but i specifically like to use reverbbbb on snares with a long decay time, makes the build-up to drop transition real smooth. Maybe you can try that out ❤❤
