It won’t cause the table of contents to show Roman numerals, that’s what you’ll have to do manually

Hey if you need it at the bottom just select the bottom header option. It’s at the top because that is where I’ve chosen to place my header.

Yes it’s pretty ridiculous April, but unfortunately that’s how docs works! You still need to change the numbers manually in the table of contents. This works more so if you need to print the document out.

@@devin334 If you have to use Roman numeral for every page it’ll take a while, but typically Roman numerals is just a few pages not the entire manuscript, you can proceed to do the original method with the regular numbers and have it number it for you automatically

@@mapbernardo two ways. Once you follow the steps here. You can either type them in manually from the keyboard or select special characters within google docs. I say it’s easier to type them in manually. Type in Google “Roman numerals” to see how they look in lowercase then type them in. Does that help?
