Hi my supplier has been on Alibaba for 16 years, is a verified supplier and has an iso certificate. They seem credible, only thing is they said I can’t have an inspection on a smaller order (20 foot container) because it would need 2 workers to open up the packages and assemble the product(outdoor wicker sets). They said they do inspections on 40HQ shipments and above. Does this seem truthful ?

All the goods shipped to USA must have "Made in China" labels on the products packages and outer cartons. Otherwise, USA customs will return the goods to China, or they will detain the goods, or charge high fine!

I think the main thing to realise here is trust. If your sourcing agent has a vested interest in getting the stock to you, i.e. financially, then they may not be the best person to trust to do your quality inspection. But again, if you have a quality inspection agency that gets a kickback from the supplier then again this is not someone that you want to work with. So it mainly boils down to trust. Try a few different companies until you find the right one.

Hi, after ordering my products on Alibaba its been 4 days now. The inspections I paid still showing pending? I contacted my supplier, and she said don't worry dear... how long is it acceptable to wait ? I feel they will not meet the express shipping I chose. The inspection company contacted me they said they can't reach out to the supplier. I contacted again the supplier she said she was on vacation but she will take care of it when she return to her office. Does anyone have experience that before , should I panic yet?
How would you recommend going about ensuring to get items inspection prior to shipment? I've have manus ignore my update requests and just ship the items before I've even seen the product!
